Dr. Roddy Smart Lochala, DO

I have been a 17 year patient of Dr. Lochala. Anyone that gave him a bad review are so wrong. His staff is beyond great. My Dr. is caring, interested in your condition and listens to any thing you say. He is an amazing Dr. He is one of the few left that really listens and does his best to take care of his patients. It is offensive to me to see anything bad said against him or his staff. I recommend him to everyone needing a doctor or not pleased with the one they're going to. He is the BEST. Gloria McAdams

I should have known this was trouble from the moment I first called his office. The most rude, unprofessional, couldn't-care-less attitude woman answered the phone. She was hard to understand (since she was obviously eating) and then started coughing/choking loudly right into the phone. When I could finally get my questions out - are you taking new patients - she stated 'depends. He aint takin nobdy thats on drugs for pain or anxiety." I tried to tell her I did have 'a' pain med but she wouldnt let me even explain. "uh uh. no exceptions. Is that all?" REALLY? If that is truly how this doctor feels, then he is just as bad; he only wants healthy patients. That takes a lot of skill! My mind is still blown!

I attended an appointment with my dad and was very impressed with Dr. Lochala's competence, interaction and communication with us. He was attentive to each of our listed concerns and displayed a personal interest in my dad and his many health complications. He has followed-up on each issue and appears to be taking good care of my dad.

He misdiagnosed me. He paid no attention to my comments of what symptoms I had. This "doctor" spent more time discussing the book I had carried with me(for the long wait) than he did discussing my illness.Later, I spoke to two other people who had been misdiagnosed by this doctor.
