Most knowledgeable doctor I have been to in a long time

Exceptional, caring, knowledgeable, smart doctor. One of a kind. I am RN retired after 40 yrs and am really picky when choosing whom to trust to make health decisions for me. I've been his patient since 2001.

Been to tons of doctors and not one would listen to me and decided to go to Dr Spillars and he tested and diagnosed me finally after all those years of suffering .

Expect to wait for a hour + to see the doctor. Had problems with a swollen foot and leg. Took three months for him to look at the foot. Then he determine I had a blood clot knew that already have had them before. Told me it would be outpatient surgery, swelling in leg would go down by itself, needed blood test for a week. Next visit wanted blood test for three weeks, swelling will not go down on its on found out surgery would be a two day visit in the hospital. A very nice doctor but if you have something major wrong would find another person to see.

No one is available to approve refills on prescriptions that he writes. I have confidence in his skills, however, over the past year, getting approval for refills on scripts is extremely difficult & I have completely run out before they approve a refill or contact me. This is not good because he realized the need for the medicine but it doesn't benefit me if I can't get it refilled as he prescribed.

it was good until momma spillar got involved. the wait and stuff could have been tolerated. but when mommma took over and started trying to make patients pay for things they did not owe for was when it got to be pain. i had gotten out of hospital from a stroke and she refused to let me see him saying i owed and that she wasnt going to give me appt until i payed. i had insurance with no deductable. when i called her to tell her i really needed to see him she said no and then told me how she got rid of the workers and hired new because no one he had there had a clue and is all brandon spillar cared about was taking care of patients and he didnt seem to have sense enough to realize he had to make money.
