The staff in this office was very kind and professional. The Doctor, on the other hand, was an arrogant belittling medical provider. I was sharing with him my medical history and med list. Every time I tried to explain to him, he told me my pass PCP wasn't treating me right, only wanted money and I shouldn't be doing that regiment. I ask for a referral for a specialist and he told me I'd have to go to Baton Rouge cause of me being on Medicaid, I wouldn't be able to see anyone around here and it would probably take 6 months to see someone. I shared that I was recovering from surgery and have to see one, soon. Again, you have Medicaid and that's impossible. I gave up on that.... Then I explained I was having pain and didn't know why and he said I couldn't have pain if I didn't know or why it started. I finally got him to understand I needed an X-ray. As I was checking out, feeling belittled, I ask for the written order for my X-rays, and he didn't write it. I had to wait 15 mins… in the waiting room and then still didn't. I ask if I could just go and they fax the order and she said, couldn't. I ask if you could call me when it's ready and I'll pick the order up. Got the order in hand, took it to the hospital and the order was written for the wrong side. I will never go back and I called the Insurance and tasted he doesn't represent them, very well.
