Dr. Rodney Douglas Michaels, MD

Dr. Michaels is very attentive to his patients. My stepson sees him for growth issues, and he is thorough and listens to parents concerns and is proactive in figuring out what is happening. I highly recommend him.

I have been a patient here for about 6 years and found both Dr. Michaels and staff friendly and helpful.

I have only seen Dr Michaels once--he was was knowledgable and easy to talk to. I would say that his office staff made me uneasy. One of them had taken down an incorrect email, and consequently I had to be very proactive in making sure I got my apt (after waiting two months). There was not a cheerful, welcoming, professional manner that makes a new patient feel at ease.

Dr. Michaels was great. My complaint is with the office staff. They are rude and most often don't communicate with each other as to what has been done and what still needs to be done. It drove me almost to cancel my appt when I got no less than FIVE

You need a referral to get into see this doctor. If you don't have a doctor to give you a referral - forget it, you won't get in. The receptionist was very rude and couldn't give details to their "policies" Once I asked for explanations she hung up on me. I was never rude, I was professional and to the point - didn't help in my particular situation.
