Dr. Kim D Nordberg, DDS

Meet Dr. Kim Nordberg
Dr. Kim Nordberg grew up on a family farm just three miles from our present office. He attended Waller Road Elementary, Franklin Pierce High School, and Tacoma Community College before graduating from Pacific Lutheran University with a B.S. in Chemisty.
He graduated from the University of Washington Dental School in 1979, and was awarded for his work in pediatric dentistry by the American Society of Dentistry for Children.
With his wife Bette, and their newborn son, Kim returned to Tacoma where he opened his first office. In the thirty years since, Dr. Nordberg has continued his education, participating in Clinical Research Associates studies of dental procedures and materials (with founder Dr. Gordon Christiansen). He has studied advanced clinical endodontics with Dr. John West. Currently, Dr. Nordberg serves Loma Linda University Dental School as Adjunct Professor in Missions Dentistry.
Dr. Nordberg has travelled with the USC, UCLA and Loma Linda Dental Schools …and the Christian Medical/Dental Association as clinical instructor in more than eight mission trips over the past twelve years.
Kim and his wife Bette have been married more than thirty-five years, attend Lighthouse Christian Center, and have four grown children, two of them dentists!
One more thing: As the son of a barber and teacher's assistant, Dr. Kim is proud of his blue colar roots. His first goal is to help you with your primary dental concern. Then, he and his staff will help you to acheive and maintain dental health. At our office, you won't find yourself coerced into additional expensive or overly agressive treatement.
