Dr. Rodney Allen Poling, MD

He was dismissive , never appeared to be listening . Behaves as though side effects of medication he prescribes could not possibly be happening. I have never felt so dismissed, defeated, and worse than when I arrived. His personality comes off as "I m a doctor therefore I know it all" Walked out if his office feeling like I was something he stepped in and could not get it off his shoes. I Would never send my dog to this man.

My scripts were dangerous to other conditions. Scripts were left to me to manage-hatefully-when taper became of the essence. I was prescribed many continuing months of two medicines that conflicted with previous and current conditions. Any method to help taper from those scripts was loosely communicated and given to my own lack of experience or judgement. I have suffered much from withdrawal that might have been considerably gentler and less anxious for all the time and toll it is still taking. The medicines that he matched to my condition were not meant to be so sickly and desperately consequential in my last few years.

I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. He made be good at what he does but it is not worth the belittling, shaming , legalistic and condescending treatment. I have never been to a doctors office where I have felt so verbally and emotionally abused.
