Dr. Rodney W. Schaffer, MD

Dr. Schaffer is probably the best doctor I have ever dealt with. He was my disabled son's doctor for several years and, where other doctors failed to consider a holistic view of one's health, Dr. Schaffer applied his vast knowledge in homeopathy as well as Western medicine to try every possible treatment and was very accepting of other professionals, such as acupuncturists, herbalists and neuro scientists. He did more for my son, at a time he desperately needed it, than any other health care professionals who treated him. We will always be grateful for his healing and his care.

It's been a long time since I have been cared for by a physician with such compassion, who cared about my physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being. Dr. Schaffer is knowledgeable, caring, asks questions and listens! We are privileged to have him here!

Dr Schaeffer is great, but his staff were not up to standards of other medical offices I've visited in providing accurate information about insurance coverage. I was told that my insurance was accepted and the homeopathy visit would be covered. Approximately $400 later I found that that I needed to pay a $500 deductible for this provider first. Had I know I would be paying over $100 for each follow up visit recommended by Rodney's office (a phone call of 10 minutes as I live out of town), I would have located another provider whom my insurance would have covered in full with no deductible. I would have preferred that the clinic either verify insurance coverage and give complete information or state that they do not verify insurance coverage and tell patients that they must verify the coverage themselves prior to receiving treatment.

I have never been to a doctor before that actually listens to me and helps me. I thank God every day for Dr. Schaffer.
