Dr. Rodney Joe Watson, MD

Dr. Watson does not deserve a profession in the medical field. Him and his staff live in another world of craziness. These are the rudest and most unprofessional people I have ever met. Do not take your kids here.

Dr. Watson is a general pediatrician with a scalding attitude. I am transferring to a different doctor after multiple circumstances where I found it hard to bite my tongue around him. Given, there have been times were he was kind and appropriate, but majority of the time it was not that simple case. He has mistreated my entire family that walked through those doors. The wait time is awful once you are in that room, I had to wait an hour at one time. The main receptionist is TERRIBLE. I was waiting to get called in, and a woman on the phone was upset because they couldn't schedule her an appointment. She put the phone on speaker and then mocked the mother to her coworkers in front of everyone!!! I was in shock. She is very rude and hateful. 1/10 recommended unless you don't mind the disrespectful attitude in the atmosphere.

If it were not for the nice nurse practitioner, I probably would not be considering returning. The receptionist yelled at a woman concerning a misunderstanding over a cardiologist appointment. Her exact words were "I don't care". This was yelled, not spoken. She proceeded to lie to the doctor about the incident when the lady leftleft saying she had offered to call the cardiologist. That was a lie . We in the waiting room just looked back and forth at one another like really?!?

An excellent doc with a caring attitude. My kids love him.

Horrible doctor he told me to find another doctor because I didn't want to give my 18 month old all the vaccinations at once. I wanted to space them out, he said it was his way or the highway like a dictator so I left.

My children see Martha Parker FNP and I couldnt ask for a better person to take care of my childrens health needs. We love her!!!

DR. WATSON IF A WONDERFUL PHYSICIAN HE TAKES TIME AND TALKS WITH MY CHILDREN I WOULD NEVER THINK ABOUT TAKING THEM TO ANY OTHER PHYS!!!!!.

Dr. watson was really good with my son who was a normal child and they always could fit him in no matter what and my son who is 19months loved.. when he was 15months i had a lil girl that was born ealry and was beside my self when he was in every morning to check on her... she was in the nicu for a lil while and when they let her come to the room i mention she couldnt hold her milk or breast milk down.. he said that its faily normal with a preemie... so we got her home and noticed it kept getting worse and she would cry/fuse when she passed gas and when she pooped and she was runny... he said it would pass.. well good friday they closed there office we called and got his college who was on call told me to go straight to the er so we get there and the dr sends us to johnson city medical (childrens hospital) he didnt call to check on her while she was in there or when we got home... we found out she was lactose,, had server GERD, and digestive problems it took 3 1/2 hrs for this stuff… to even move to her bowls and 3 days to move to her colon and so on.... i am reon mad that he had all this and could have done something when it first happen... me and my daughter was at the hospital for her first easter and a week and almost 2hrs away...and put on special formula.... I MEAN I AM BEYOND FUSTRATED MAD THAT I HAD THIS MUST TRUST IN THIS DR AND NEVER FOLLOWED UP OR ANYTHING.. i say hes a great dr if your child is a perfectly normal child with a minor cold.... i mean he was a dr for a 1yr 3months.. but i honestly should have listened to my gut and went to dr ley in the begining he is alsome.. he was mine from the beguning.....

DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR. Like the other reviews posted here, this man ignored my daughter's problems when she should have been getting early intervention and therapy. This "doctor" and his office gave me the runaround for months and months about getting a referral my daughter desperately needed. Fact of the matter is, he's a fine doctor until there's actually something wrong with your child. I repeat, DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR.
