I would like to say Dr. Erlich is phenomenal. My husband was seeing Dr. Iqubal at sloan and was transferred to Dr. Erlich once it was found that his cancer originated in his stomach. Dr. Erlich has a great sense of passion for my husband and our family. He truly cares. The fact that he keeps in touch and allows you to call his cell phone if you need to is the best thing an oncologist can do to help their patients feel secure that they are not calling into a call center to just get any Doctor. That is not how things should be done. Even at RCCA Doctors in east brunswick, NJ give cell phone number out. I also like Dr. Erlich's approach to his bed side manner. He is always making eye contact to ensure he is listening and hearing your concerns. Anytime my husband is hospitalized he always reaches our to make sure everything is okay and to see if we have any concerns. I really love Dr. Erlich and I wish he was staying at sloan. Hopefully he is in network so we can follow. At this… point, I do not want any other doctor but him.

My wife has metastatic breast cancer. She had given up hope based on the treatment from her prior oncologist. Then God blessed us by meeting Rodrigo Erlich, M.D. He is a man of singular genius and compassion. He is thinking about my wife's case all the time. Not only can I call him anytime but he reaches out to me regarding his thoughts on my wife's treatment. This man thinks beyond the generic cookie cutter options and considers the individual's unique case. My wife and I consider ourselves privileged to know this great and good man.

My husband has been treated for the last year by Dr. Erlich. After being diagnosed with bladder cancer in the bladder and prostrate my husband had some preop scans that showed a mass in the pancreas and spots in the liver. Diagnosis stage 4 pancreatic cancer. We hunted for answers and a doctor that cared. God blessed us with Dr. Erlich. The care he has shown us over the last year is only surpassed by his creative and dynamic approach to cancer. After a year of treatment my husband Ca1-19 markers are down from a high of 3224 to 55!! We actually have hope for some more time together. We have heard that he is leaving Sloan and are devastated. Not sure why but don't think that he has much to do with it. Hoping he stays close because we will be right behind.

My mother was diagnosed with MDS and her first Oncologist gave her months to live and really in my opinion realy care about treating her. I asked her regular doctor if there was somethig else we could do, so he gave me Dr. Erlich's office number. I called the office and he called me back and based on our brief conversation felt we could fight. I know Mom was not ready to call it quits. Dr. Erlich reviewed her medical records from the other Oncologist's office and he felt she had a good chance to fight. He actually gave me his pager number and no matter when I called he always called back. He spoke in plain english so I could understand what was happening. He did a fantastic job and was very pro-active in treating Mom's MDS. Unfortunatley due to how far we had to travel to continue to see him I was forced to go back to the other Oncologist's office. Bad mistake as again they had no interest in treating my Mom's cancer, only the symtoms. She is now only getting trandfusions as… neccessary and nothing else. Boy do I really miss Dr. Erlich. If you read this Dr. Erlich we wish you all the best and you really are the best at what you do and I would be proud to call you my friend.

Dr Erlick has left Geisinger Wyoming Valley. He was my doctor and I would very much like to know where he is practicing and maybe it would be possible for him to treat me. They will not give me any information.

and Dr. Erlich treated her as if it was a run of the mill case. 2 stars because she liked him as a person. she lasted 10 weeks after diagnosis and MD stated "ok to smoke."
