Genuinely cares about his patients, and goes above and beyond to make sure their health needs are met. Thank you Dr. Ashley for your kindness, attentiveness, and expertise. We are lucky to have you at URI.

I've seen Dr. Ashley for five years as a graduate student and have consistently left the Health Services office pleasantly surprised by our interactions. He is a thoughtful and personable doctor, recalling details of past conversations years later, and always genuinely interested in interacting with students. I study biology, and Dr. Ashley has always taken the time to explain the science behind various tests or disorders we've discussed, which I have found very interesting and informative. He is thorough in his exams and has personally called to follow up on lab results. I have no idea what the person who left a negative review here is talking about- no one calls him "Dr. Bowtie," and all of the graduate students I know who have had him as a doctor really appreciate his manner and professionalism. I highly recommend seeing him.

Over the time I spent at URI I encountered Dr Ashley many times. After going to health services for having repeated dizzy spells, he wanted to run a pregnancy test even though I had already told him that I was a virgin. When I kindly reminded him that I was not sexually active, he chided back with "Not sexually active, or not sexually active this week?" Dr Bowtie, as he is referred to behind his back by much of the student population is nothing short of a disaster.

It is a shame I cannot stay at URI for my entire life because it a task to find (nevermind choosing) someone else. Thanks Doc.
