I admire his efforts to develop a way to describe and connect different aspects of a person's life, such as their behaviors, goals, and interests, within a philosophical framework that is easy for anyone to understand. It appears that he is attempting to view the body as a unified whole while also recognizing the importance of the small details in relation to the bigger picture. Rather than treating a problem as a single issue with one solution, he sees it as a result of the entire system operating inefficiently, with the more delicate components potentially presenting issue(s) first.

Beaumont wrote RX's for seizures for over a year when there was never a seizure. After a fall and while at hospital, another Dr. diagnosed polypharmacy. As soon as excess meds were stopped, so did the falls. I thank god the ambulance transported to a hospital Beaumont didn't work.
