Dr. Roger Behar, MD

Dr. Behar is skilled and efficient, but perceived by the patient, my husband, as so intimidating that we needed to switch to another provider. Dr. Behar's staff is remarkably unhelpful, sometimes downright rude. In my experience, office staff does not behave this way unless it's ok with the person in charge.

I have been with Dr Behar for 20 years and I think he’s incredible. He cured me without surgery and listen to the doctor. He certainly knows what he’s doing.

My 89 year old mother drove over an hour in the pouring rain to see Dr Behar. She was 15 min late and Kristen the receptionist refused to let my mother into the office. She shouted at my Mom and was the complete opposite of kind and caring. Who treats and older people in pain that way?? Kristen should be ashamed of herself.

I could write a wonderful chapter on Dr. Behar. I have been taking my mother with Alzheimer's to him for several years. He is an outstanding Neurologist who takes the time to listen and answer all your questions. He is very patient, compassionate and caring. Dr. Behar knows how to relate to his patients and their families because he truly cares. My mom was misdiagnosed by another doctor with Parkinson's disease in addition to her Alzheimers given meds she shouldn't have been taking. After she was examined by Dr. Behar, he ruled out Parkinsons, and only takes meds for her Alzheimer's. Dr. Behar is not one of those doctors who rush in and out and you're left with 20 more questions left unanswered. Excellent doctor - highly recommend him. Kathrene Kanellos

Dr. Behar is a wonderful physician and a genuine human being. The entire staff is great also. Dr. Behar is a credit to the medical profession.
