Dr. Roger Dikdan

As a board-certified internist and hospital medicine specialist, Roger Dikdan, M.D., provides compassionate, expert care for patients admitted to City of Hope® Cancer Center Phoenix.In his clinical work, Dr. Dikdan is part of a multidisciplinary team that helps care for patients with a wide range of health needs, including those recovering from surgery and who are experiencing complications related to their diagnosis or treatment. Dr. Dikdan’s philosophy is patient-centered, and he is committed to ensuring that every person’s cancer journey is as smooth as possible.After receiving his medical education at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Dr. Dikdan completed a residency in internal medicine at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Prior to joining City of Hope in 2024, he served in several clinical roles, including a hospital medicine position at an acute-care facility in Texas, during which time he was nominated for a “physician of the …year” award.Dr. Dikdan also worked as a research assistant on a cardiology project during his time as a medical student, investigating the connections between collagen deposits in the heart and lungs and cardiovascular disease, as well as his role as a clinical research assistant at Baylor College of Medicine.In addition to English, Dr. Dikdan is a native French speaker who is proficient in Arabic and speaks basic Spanish. He is a member of multiple professional associations, including the American Medical Association and American College of Physicians.
