Dr. Roger Dale Glymph, MD

Dr. Glymph is an excellent doctor, however, his staff members are very rude (especially the front receptionist), lazy, and medically uneducated. These are simply students from a medical Technician program definitely not licensed nurses. When you come in for your appointment or check out for an appointment the front desk receptionist is always on her cell phone texting. You can never get an appointment when you are having problems. It's terrible that he is an excellent doctor but has a very incompetent staff. Patients will die before they can get help dealing with his office staff from the front desk all the way to the referral nurse. If you are being referred to another physician you have to call the referral nurse back to get the appointment as oppose to her calling you to get the appointment information. I don't see how his office is still functional with these incompetent people.

I think Dr. Glymph is a wonderful doctor. The receptionist is very kind and I have always had good experiences with her. The nurse doing his records is very rude on the other hand but she now works in back so you don't have to deal with her. Overall Dr. Glymph will see to it that all your needs are meet. I have also never had a problem booking an appointment. And as far as wait time I would rate him average.

Not courteous, wait times can be 2 hours or more and they do not care. You are told that this is "normal" wait time for any office (yeah, ok). He is over booked and under staffed with low quality staff.

Let me say, I have lived in different parts of the U.S. and seen doctors in all of those parts. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I was referred to him (go figure) by an acquaintance. The first time I saw him, 2 hour wait. Second time, 2.5 hour wait. Third time 2 hour wait. Each time he came in and quickly "checked" me, prescribed some meds and started walking towards the door as I was asking questions. This is all AFTER encountering the rudeness at the window. His staff is extremely standoffish, they avoid eye contact so that you won't ask them anything because they simply do not want to be bothered. They schedule SEVERAL people for the exact same appointment time then it is first come first served. Isn't that the POINT of an APPOINTMENT?! He even mis-prescribed something for me once, thankful to my pharmacist for catching it. Needless to say, I am currently looking for a new physician. Avoid this office! The headache is not worth it. They will try to tell you… that it is NORMAL to wait 2.5 hours to see YOUR doctor, you know, the one YOU are paying and taking off work to see. And if you complain to them about any of this, you are looked at as being "outrageous." It really is sad that people actually think they have to take that. I'm here to tell you it is NOT normal. You should be seen within 20 minutes of your appointment time and the staff SHOULD be welcoming, nice, empathetic and sympathetic to you as a patient. You will NOT get that at this office. There are PLENTY of other doctors...go see them.

I was scheduled for a 7:30a appointment so I got there at about 7:25am only to see a room filled with patients. Since this was my first time there I figured there must be other doctors here. Wrong! They had MULTIPLE people scheduled for the same time. Why would this be? I waited over 40 minutes to be seen. This, to me, is completely unacceptable. When I tried to talk to who I believe is the managing nurse, she acted as if this was normal and was a bit rude as if SHE was offended from me inquiring about separate times for patients. They were not apologetic but yet rather "put off" that I even questioned the way they handled things. The lady who I presume is the receptionist is pretty nice and the doctor as well. I would think he needs to definitely tighten up the way his office is ran. I like order and promptness as well as the need to go the extra mile. Oh and I cannot deal with the whole "come and pick up your hand-written prescription"...this is 2015, please step up your game!

great Doctor

My mother and sister have been patients of Dr. Glymph for about a year and I tell you that their experience has been less than desirable. I have attended several appointments with them both and the customer service from his front desk staff is nonexistence! They are always so rude they never file insurance claims correctly actually they have wrongfully charged my mothers insurance company for medicine, equipment, and services that she has not received. They also wrongfully charged her a copay"s in the amount of $20 & $90 dollars. My mother currently has two very good insurance coverage's and everyone knows what one insurance company doesn't cover the other pick up . Well Blue Cross Blue Shield needed Dr. Glymph to answer 5 questions due to the new prescription medicine that he just prescribed my mother so they could pay the copay and as usual could not get him or his staff on the phone so my mother informed him of the situation and his reply was and I quote " It is not my… responsibility to pay for your medicine!". With all the fraud and illegal activity going on with prescription drugs that is one of the new things that the insurance companies are requiring from the doctors to ensure the authenticity of the prescription. My mother complained to Dr. Glymph about having restless nights and asked if she could benefit from a prescribe sleep aid and he replied and I quote " I don't think that will help you are probably bipolar and I am going to give your a referral to see a psychiatrist. My mother has served in the medical field as a Respiratory Therapist for over 30 years that was just a plain insult to her. Needless to say Dr. Glymph bedside manners and professionalism is just like his staff customer service skills non existence! I am in the process of finding my mother and sister another Internal Medicine Doctor! DO NOT GO TO DR. GLYMPH, HIMSELF AND HIS STAFF ARE HORRIBLE!

Dr. Glymph has been a wonderful doctor for both my husband and myself for years. He a is knowledgable and very caring man and we regret leaving his care as we move out of state. His staff has provided excellent service also.
