Absolutely the worst…bully…doesn’t listen because he’s been doing this for “30 years”…basically a jerk..

Dr. Hecker is a great doctor! I am so glad that I found him. He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to listen to all your questions and concerns. You never feel rushed during your appointment. He truly cares about his patients and makes sure that you receive follow up notes after your visit. I would highly recommend Dr. Hecker.

Great Doctor. Very knowledgeable about the latest treatments and medications. Provides lots of good advice on lifestyle changes that made my health much better and reduced my need for meds.

Patient of Dr.Hecker for 5 years. Best doctor I ever had, and I have a LOT of experience with many doctors. Besides being extremely knowledgeable, Dr. Hecker is also a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner. That said, he does things differently than most other doctors. I you have an issue, most doctors tell you to try this and see what happens. If that doesn't work, try something else. Dr. Hecker considers everything that can cause your issue and methodically sorts out the situation before deciding the next step. Very thorough and helpful. He is the first doctor where I feel totally confident in his care.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Hecker since my accident in 2019. Yesterday was it! I want to get a second opinion on my brain damage and he bullied me to not get a second opinion. I’ve realized after the phone call that I have felt this way about him before I saw he had bad bed side manner (what they use to call it) it is what it is HE IS A BULLY AM GOING TO REPORT HIM EVERYWHERE I CAN. After reading these reviews he needs to be STOPPED! Anyone wants to join me in a lawsuit reach out to me!!

They had my comment deleted from Google reviews. Although I did not violate the 9 guidlines for appropriate google reviews. This is isnjust plane bad manners. (No Pun Intended). Save yourself some time and avoid.

Phenomenal doctor! So professional, so insightful, so concerned with each and every detail, always checks meds for interactions and contraindications, has a caring open and warm welcoming personality. What more could one want in a doctor???

Could not agree more with many of the comments below mine. Condescending, arrogant, and belittling. His tone is entirely argumentative (for what reason??) and I felt stupid just being there asking for help. Did not have a productive appointment and will not be returning. Would entirely not recommend this doctor.

Want happened to dr. Hecker? I have been seeing the doctor since 2004. Went in to have my Wellness numbers reviewed. Doctor would not accept lab work from home Quest. Started visit complaining about staff members over booking him. Received no actual medical treatment. Was billed as a new patient at the ridiculous rate. After numerous conversations and call back promises they wore me out.

This man is obviously a miserable individual. He is rude and doesn't listen, he made me wait 45 minutes to see him then rushed me through my history. He kept interrupting me and seemed uncaring. I'm 20 years old and he only wanted to throw pain pills at me (even though I kept telling him I didn't need them) Hello...this is why so many of my friends have pain pill problems!!! I cannot stress how badly he made me feel and how he made me feel stupid. He is a horrible doctor and I have since switched out of this practice (AMG Libertyville) as they have really gone downhill since moving into their new office.
