Dr. Roger Hicks, MD

She saw me several times and noticed a lump on my leg, she was feeling it and felt another mass under it, and gave me a recommendation to a surgeon who took out the cancer!! She probably saved my life, I have so much gratitude for her and every person at YubaDocs

I had just moved here, my neurologist had gone on vacation. Dr. Hicks took over my treatment for 5 years! What a great staff too!!!

I moved here from Santa Cruz, my neurologist there went on vacation, so I wasnt able to get a refill. Dr. Hicks saved the day for me! He was my physician for 5 years, he and his staff always took care of me!!

Yubadocs was wonderful when I broke my wrist a couple of weeks ago. Even tho I got there a few minutes before they closed, the staff stayed on, took xrays, pit a splint on, gave me pain meds and arranged for a referral to a hand specialist. Great patient care.

Dr. Hicks is a very smart doctor with a great bedside manner. His office staff is so friendly and always remember my name. I got really ill on Christmas Eve and they were open. I was able to be seen right away and get antibiotics for my strep throat at their office. Highly recommended. I don't even use my regular primary doctor anymore.

The doctor himself did not spend much time with me. Instead I had to see his physicians assistant, Alyssa, who was rude and uncaring. She wrote several falsehoods in my records. My whole family was astounded and we vowed to never return to yuba docs. we would have been better off paying more and going to the emergency room at the local hospital. My condition was not diagnosed and they spent more time writing subjective notes about my personality than my actual illness, which turned out to be serious as I was admitted to ICU a couple weeks later.

I was a long time patient of Dr. Hicks being seen for a WC injury. He had ordered a work capacity test to get me back to work. Before he wrote his report, he dropped me as he said I was rude to one of his (VERY RUDE) office staff. With out talking to me. This 'office staff' person had used her knowledge of me as a patient to gain access to my personal life for her own personal gain. He would NOT write my report and it cost me a year of no income as no doctor would take a comp case so far along. This is the doctor who is all involved in affordable health care. This is totally unacceptable. I tried MANY times to communicate with him but could not get past his controlling rude office staff and his equally rude wife who is all about protecting this office staff person. This office cost me so much personal pain.

Doctor great, office staff extremely rude and unhelpful.
