A brilliant surgeon. A colonoscopy probably saved my life! Doctor Hsiung is a rockstar!

Staff was extremely nice and professional, Dr Hsiung was very pleasant and very thorough with his examination and explanations before, during and after procedure. Just wish I would have seen him 10 years ago. Highly recommend!

Was not honest about the procedure, the people allowed in the view the procedure, the violent reaction I had on the table, the reason for the serious bruises on my neck and arms. He didn't pay attention to my medical concerns - just wanted to do the procedure. The head operating nurse verified a different story of what happened in the operating room.

I am a 68 year old male that has had diverticulitis issues for several years and developed a fistula between my bladder and colon. Dr Hsiung listened to my explanation of past history and explained his proposed treatment and possible alternatives in terms that were meaningful to my wife and myself. He didn't stress us during our discussions but did address possible negative consequences concerning my condition. I was on the operating table for about seven hours but because of his thorough and careful techniques, I was walking unassisted the next afternoon, released from the hospital four days later and cleared for normal activities at six weeks. Dr Hsiung has my highest respect as a surgeon not only because of his technical expertise but also because of his humor which reduced my stress level during a very difficult operation. My highest recommendation!

Dr. Hsiung provides great care for colon health. He explains things well and knows his stuff. Thankful he was with my insurance.

Great doctor who listens amd provides procedures or surgery only when needed. When those an be avoided, conservative measures used. Feel glad to have found him to help with my condition.

I'm a huge fan of Dr. Hsiung and trust his judgment. He's very straight forward and honest, which rubbed me the wrong way at first but now I appreciate. He explained everything to me in detail, set out a treatment plan and always had time to listen to questions. I did everything he told me to do and recovered well. I feel like too many doctors, in general, are rushing people through their offices and don't care about patients but definitely not the case here. I definitely recommend!
