Dr. Roger Khouri

ONE WORD Nightmare another word UNETHICAL DISRESPECTFUL. Had to forcefully rate 1 star in order to submit review. How ever he is a freaking nightmare and recommend google him and all the complaints he's had over the past 11 years its scary. I would not recommend him if he was the last Dr. on earth...

He is caring, competent and a perfectionist . I have had several surgeries for breast cancer with fat transfer and would recommend him to my family members and friends .

Doctor Khouri and his team did a wonderful job on my wife's reconstructive procedure. She has recovered nicely. I will admit, it was a long journey, but worth it for the results.

I went to Dr. Kouris office for a fat transfer after atrophy lower spine from radiation 30 years ago. Buttocks for atrophied, dr. Khouri said he could definitely help me. Most importantly I only weighed 103 pounds. Nobody fat to harvest. Dr khouri said he could definitely do the procedure. AFTER first procedure I realized it did not take few weeks later. Doctor insisted on doing a second procedure. When I awoke from second surgery he sadly said to me I had no body fat so he had to scrape all the muscles in my thighs. It as in a nightmare. Why did he not wake me up during anesthesia and tell me this instead of butchering both my legs. I have permanent nerve damage. 6 years later I have trouble walking. Severe nerve pain in both my thighs on a daily basis. I have creases throughout the top of my thighs and indents. My neurologist at University of Miami said he had no business doing this procedure on a patient like myself. I attempted a lawsuits at the time for negligence and Kouris… office will purposely avoid all your phone calls and stretch out the two-year statute of limitations you have in Florida. My attorney said he's been on record for being sued many times but somehow gets out of it. Do not get surgery from this doctor. There are many other good surgeons in the State of Florida. This is one regret I will never forgive myself for.

Dr. Khouri and his team are absolutely amazing! I love how my breasts look, they’re natural, soft, and implant free!! I’m so happy I chose to my reconstructive surgery with doctor Khouri!

You’re better off going to a third world country and having surgery than to ever step foot in this office or have surgery with Khouri. It was a nightmare from beginning to end.

Take your time to read all the negative reviews and notice how similar they all are. These women tell the same story and yet this man is still practicing. I ended up with cellulitis and abscess caused by an INTESTINAL bacteria at surgery. I had to have urgent surgery after going to the ER on my own after Dr. Khoui and staff tried to treat me remotely with oral antibiotics. I ended up losing the right breast implant it was so badly infected. I am now left with a mangled right breast and a partially finished left breast and cannot have surgery for months because of the infection. I also have a wire from the RAFT procedure (Dr. Khouri never bothers to tell you your reverse abdominoplasty involves placing a wire around each breast) causing extreme pain in my right breast. He operates in an antiquated surgical suite above his office and though I never saw the recovery room because I had been so heavily drugged during surgery, my husband did, and said it was not clean. I have had many… surgeries but the post-surgical weeks after this surgery were the worst days of my life. I have started a Facebook page for women to discuss their surgeries because i feel so traumatized after what has happened to me. He promised me the moon; warm, sensate breasts with minimally-invasive surgeries. He also said he could take care of my numbness and pain from mastectomy. Don't believe a word he says.

On a Sunday I was referred to the m Miami Hand Center by an urgent care physician to be evaluated due to an animal bite to my index finger and possible complications from infection. He stressed I was to be seen by a hand specialist as soon as possible. I called the center Monday morning as instructed by the physician and was given a 7:00 p.m. appointment. Upon arrival the waiting was full with patients that had been waiting for over two hours to see D.r Khouri. Some very irritated and angry people, understandably so. Some remained and some left the Center dissatisfied with the long wait. The center sees not just true emergencies. The center also serves as an injury law suit center apparently due to a question asked by the office personnel at front desk. It's like a 1-800411-pain commercial. I was finally seen at 9:00p.m. The rooms inside where one meets with the Dr. were not the cleanest , most hygienic looking patient waiting rooms. The paper on the patient chair where the patient… prior had sat was not even changed out. The Dr.'s cavalier attitude was maddening. One arrives there expecting to be seen, diagnosed, treated and learn whether surgery is necessary. I was anguished because of the injury and the Urgent Care doctor's stressing that I be seen a.s.a.p. and then telling me I would most likely need surgery. The doctor wanted to prescribe a topical antibiotic which he erroneously told me would penetrated through the tissue layers of dermis and reach the area infected. No such topical treatment by a cream, salve or lotion crosses through the epidermis to the dermis to reach anywhere with the body, topical means it is applied to the outer layer skin. What he said was completely untrue!! I was instructed to return in a coupkle of days for a follow up and surgery would be needed thereafter. His "bedside manner is atrocious. I was reduced to tears as he raised his voice addressing me in a demeaning and insulting manner stating he had been there since 9:00 a.m. I served twenty years in the fire department and am now a retired fire lieutenant. I"ve worked up to 72 hours straight during emergencies such as hurricanes and other disasters here and abroad. My husband heard his yelling at me from the waiting room and entered the patient room to ascertain I was fine. The doctor was callous and impatient and booked me for surgery the following day at 4:p.m. We went home. I called the next day and the surgery was to be done at a facility in Key Biscayne Village where he also performs plastic surgeries and breast augmentations etc. I checked out other patients reviews. One such review stated he "was a butcher". I cancelled the appointment. The swelling that made my finger look like a lollipop began to subside that evening with warm water and salt soaks. The infection resolved itself with the soaks and the antibiotics prescribed by the first doctor at the Urgent Care doctor. No surgery was needed at all. NONE. I caution any one and every one who is referred to this man there are other qualified surgeons in Miami not affiliated with ambulance chasing routines.
