Dr. Roger A Mcdougal, DDS

I recently saw Dr. Mcdougal for a root canal. I'd like to say that he is very gentle and patient. He listened to me and addressed all my questions. His answers were very clear and easy to understand. After the root canal, I did not take Ibuprofen and my tooth had some inflammation. I went back to see him again. He spent almost one hour to examine my tooth and took X-rays to make sure everything was OKay. He prescribed a mouth wash for me to take care of the canker sore and inflammation. He didn't charge me anything for the second visit. My tooth felt much better after that. Overall, I think Dr. Mcdougal is very caring and patient. I would like to give him a 5 star if I could. Root canals can be not only painful but also make you nervous. Dr Mcdougal makes the process painless and relaxing. I did not even feel the shot. He takes his time and stays with you through the entire process which makes you have confidence in his ability and knowledge. Almost every other dentist I have ever been to appears to be mulit-tasking, treating many patience at once. Not Dr Mcdougal. This is the 3rd tooth he has done a root canal on, and have had an enjoyable, yes I said and enjoyable experience, which says a lot for a root canal.
