Dr. Roger Allan Mueller, MD

I am in need of surgery and was reviewing comments by patients when I ran across patient reviews of Dr. Roger A. Mueller. Several years ago I had surgery on my right knee by Dr. Mueller. The surgery did not help one bit and to this day my right knee bothers me. After surgery my knee swelled up about the size of a volleyball. Dr. Mueller gave me no answers on why the knee was swelling. He basically just stop talking to me. His bedside manners are zero. Like one respondent said, "I would not send my worst enemy to Dr. Mueller". I agree 100%.

Was fortunate to receive appt within 4 days, and that included a holiday weekend. Very courteous and professional staff. Arrived eary and was immediately showed to waiting room, literally spent less than 2 minutes in waiting room. Nurse was prompt and professional in recording history and checking vitals. Doctor was available within a minute or two of the nurse finishing. Spent plenty of time with examination, was good with explanations and careful over giving injections. Follow up instructions were clear and thorough. This was a first visit, but was refered here when my regular Orthopaedic was out of town. Quite pleased with overall visit. This MD is quite adequate for office visit and examination, however he is no longer performing surgery.

Dr. Mueller put in mismatched hip replacement join parts at the wrong angle - my mother's hip continued to dislocate until she had his work fixed with a new hip five years after the original hip that Mueller put in. Each time he had to see my mother at the hospital he would blame her for the dislocation. Neither of her other replacements done by other doctors have ever dislocated. His bed side manner is horrific and the man has zero compassion.He also operated on my son's knee at the age of 8 before my mother's surgery. He was to remove the extra growth of meniscous in my son's knee. He told us it was perfect. Five years later my son was at another specialist for the same knee and we found out he had been playing sports bone to bone and the records I picked up showed a complete meniscectomy. He lied and my son paid the price. His new doctor said he did'nt know how he was walking much less running up and down a basketball court - he is facing early knee replacement as a result and of… course, sports ended immediately. I would not send my worst enemy to Dr. Mueller - ever.
