Dr. Roger Martin Olander, MD

I have been going to Dr. Olander for decades. He is so very knowledgeable, helpful and kind, I feel really fortunate to have had him as my doctor all these years. He has always sat and talked and taken the time to review all aspects of my health care and well being -- not just gynecological matters, which is refreshing when you compare him to the average provider who rushes through a visit. He shares his vast wisdom and provides wonderful advice and excellent care. I remember he once talked about his kids wanting a pet rabbit ... then once they got it, the kids didn't really want it anymore. He told them that was too bad -- that you don't just dispose of a pet that is part of your family. I have paraphrased here, but that story has always stuck with me -- Dr. Olander's not only a great doctor, but one who exudes humor, authenticity, warmth, kindness -- and integrity.

After having severe complications from what was suppose to be a simple procedure involving a mesh sling that a different doctor implanted in me for stress urinary incontinence (SUI), I searched hi and low to find a doctor in my area that did NOT use mesh, and knew how to do repairs and help women without implanting mesh... as well as a doctor that would actually help me. Dr. Olander came highly recommended to me by a friend who had gone to him for many years. Dr. Olander did not remove my mesh sling that was causing me so many problems, (I traveled to an expert that deals with mesh complications for that) - but, Dr. Olander could help me when I needed more pelvic repairs and did not want mesh. He never used mesh - a big plus for me - and knows how to help without using it. He was also kind and very knowledgeable, and I am very glad to have found him.

I have been a patient of dr olander's for 33 years. He and his staff are wonderful and like family and me being an RN. Hesitate to go to the dr.s at all! I highly recommend this Dr. !

He was the only person in the area that promised me a safe and painless procedure and followed through.

This was one of the worst experiences of my life. He didn't know what he was doing, he couldn't diagnose something that I diagnosed with Google.com. He was ridiculously unprofessional. He performed a half-assed surgery on me that cost me four times what his office said it would.I asked him a question and both my own research and another doctor answered as the complete opposite of what he said. I wouldn't go back to him if he was teh last doctor on earth.

Dr Olander has been my Dr for over 30 years, He is a brilliant doctor that can handle the toughest problems,he is very professinal and I have recommended him to many women who would say the same thing. He just delivered high risk TWINS for my girlfriends daughter! My only wish is that he never retires!!!

Dr Olander is a great doctor. He is very caring and really takes an interest in my questions and concerns. He is careful to explain everything so I know what to expect as the patient. I have never waited more than 5 minutes in his office. More doctors should be like Dr. O!

Dr Olander is a wonderful doctor who delivered both my children. He has a wealth of knowledge and helps you obtain the results you desire. He is a fertility expert, has delivered close to 1500 children, and can handle stressful situations so calmly that you don't even know there is a potential problem. He answers every question, and never makes me feel like I'm asking a stupid question. He doesn't have an outward sense of humor (he is really business-like in the office), but he does have one.His office staff is fantastic, and remembered me even though it had been almost 10 months without contact. I NEVER have to wait in the waiting room, and they are always so helpful and speedy. If I need an appointment that day, they find a way to get me in, and I still don't have to wait!I can't say enough good things about him.
