Dr. Roger Martine Orth, MD

Dr. Orth's prime has passed! He's a Doctor that's sticking around for the $$$. he's 70 year's old, elderly and infirm. At my appointment yesterday He had an out dated ct report saying there was nothing wrong in my gut. fortunately the ct Enterography he had ordered, I had gotten a copy of the report from the radiologist prior to my appointment,it specifically stated I have a problem with my Colon! he referred me to a general surgeon for exploratory surgery. With all the diagnostic tools available he should have looked further for a diagnosis! Sorry Roger but just telling it like it is! You dismiss my symptom's after treating me for 13 years knowing my Father and his Father died from metastatic colon cancer. All I can say is when I'm finally diagnosed pray my colon is clear of cancer! Have a nice retirement!

When going to see a doctor I don't expect to be looked up and down like a piece of meat nor do I expect to be talked to in a condescending manner. I have been suffering with GI issues for many years only to be told to eat a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast. Really?!?!? First of all I work in the nutrition field and besides that, don't you think after all these years I would have tried everything I know BEFORE going to see a specialist. How about some further testing to get to the root of the problem? A bowl of oatmeal WOW unreal! Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this doctor!

My father had been seeing Dr. Orth since he moved to Pensacola over a year ago. My father was diagnosed at Duke with Gastroparesis, paralyses of the stomach. My father's conditioned worsened so instead of seeing Dr. Orth for at least 3 months (after Dr. Orth's office said to call them if there was namny problems and they would get him in right away) he had to go to the ER and then was referred to see his PA. After this visit, they suggested he see a specialist in Orlando. After going to this specialist in Orlando (who is fabulous by the way), the specialist said there was no reason for Dr. Orth to refer him to Orlando where the surgery would be. This is a 6 hour drive that my parents have to spilt up as not able to drive that distance in one sitting. The simple fact that Dr. Orth could have done this very invasive procedure and keep my father close to his family in case of emergencies or difficulties with the surgery, he washed his hands and sent him away. This is very unprofessional… and seems Dr. Orth does not genuinely care about his patients, lives up to promise, and is only truly in it for paycheck. Heaven help someone has a true emergency. He will send you away so not to be inconvenienced.

Overall rating would be a zero but that was not a choice. If you need a test done he is ok cause you are anesthetised. I called w an issue and was referred to a nurses voicemail . Left a message. Heard back two and a half weeks later. Meanwhile went to regular dr. The regular dr read dr Orths report and found the tone and verbage unprofessional. Orth is not good with people. His observations were good, but that is likely my only compliment. You will see his NP, not him if you make an appointment. She is much more likeable which is probably why he has you see her. Waiting time to be seen is usually 2-3 months. I do not recomend this Dr or his group. Sacred Heart is my choice of hospital, however I will go elswhere for GI care.

My appt was suppose to be with dr orth instead it was his pa. Gave me new medicine which makes me thew up and cases my tummy hurt a d lightheaded ness and dizziness. Am going to call and see of they can move up my schedule. Had to have ercp. With dr lord and dr orth and when know I'm having ing issues the pa doesn't want to listen!! Frustrated!! Will be calling tomortow!!!!!!

Expert in his profession and love that if he finds a problem, he is GOING to solve it!

Dr Roger Orth should not be allowed to practice medicine. I wish there was a petition to sign to get him out of Pensacola. Poor miserable excuse of a human.

Daughter spent 3 years trying to get a diagnosis for her symptoms. He was able to diagnos and fix problem in about 8 weeks.

dr roger orth performed a routine colonoscopy on my wife martha on oct 23rd 2012 . she suffered through 70 days of agony before going to heaven
