Dr. Roger Karl Pons, MD

I was his patient in 2003 at United Hospital in Clarksburg, West Virginia. My post checkup was 1 month after surgery. His nurse took me by the throat and started strangling me. She threaten to harm my mother as she told me knew a lot of in the medical field, if I told Pons that surgery did not go well. My primary MD husband owned his clinic so no use getting any help as they good friends. Surgery was not punctrual told to arrive at 530 am. Surgery was at 1PM No apology. Pons not there when surgery completed as he schedules many patients at his clinic Allows surgery patient to be druged over and over 5 times against their wishes but never show up to cure them of pain when surgery gos wrong. Hospital was in on this causing drug addiction not to me but to many in the state of WV. Many died. Pons caused death of patient in stonewall Jackson Hospital but Judge found him not guilty dispite patient being given drugs till he died at surgery. Mayor of Bridgeport finally sent to jail for… dispensing so many oppoids at pharmacy. Pons abandoned me as a patient. He was the only rectum specialist in WV. Unable to get my records as nurse threatened me. Pons would treat morning surgery patients well with no drugs and good results and latter ones in the day released. Out patient surgery released at 9 PM with prescription for hydrocodone apap 7.5-500 Tav 10-28-2003 . So he knew surgery was not success. My mother h IN pain. Loose much sleep. ad neighbor get prescription but both of us did not kno it was a strong drug. Neighbor had been retired but worked for Pons and did not seek help for us as loyal to Pons. I have for 17 years been in pain walking in cirles at times. Cannot work ever When I sit I am in pain. When I lay dow I am in pain When I get up in pain Just think would you risk being in pain for 17 years Pons left WV. Patient had no doctor and most turn to drugs. I wa a Eagle scout. I did not turn to drugs but sought trigger point theraply and electic treatment, however ran out of mony. 98 year old mother takes care of me. I will be homeless, in pain and don't know whats to becom of me. I love life and trust God. I know theres not much rule of law down here but hpe on Judgementday fi Pons don't repent he will answer to his creator for the lifes he destroye in his greed and nelegence He and his staff had no Hope this answers not punctual and one star. Difficult to type as in so much pain. DOctors are above th law and as Christian we can ony pray they will repent and change their wicked ways. I wanted to warn you.. I do have the right of freedom of speech , my ancestor Benjamin WIlson ratified the Constitution. I was a historian befor this man ruined me. We must never theaten or harm someone if we are Christian. What you can do is not give this doctor you business.

Poor patient monitoring, detrimental patient outcome, and lack of respect for patients and patients' families.

He is my doctor by 9 years on colitis ulcerative, he is the best!!!

Staff here needs to be trained in customer service. They treat each person like a number, and have absolutely no compassion! A rather serious cancer-related surgery was canceled just 2 days before because the doctor is going on vacation; as if my time off from work to even do this wasn't important. I went through a mission to make this possible and no alternatives were even offered. "Sorry, there's nothing I could do" is not a very good hospitable response. I've had nothing but horrible customer service here. If it weren't for the fact that the actual doctor was a smart, decent man, I would never even consider going here again!

The experience with Dr. Pons and his staff has been nothing but exceptional. His knowledge, experience and expertise in his field brought nothing but comfort and ease to a difficult diagnosis. We would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Pons and his staff to any of our family and friends.
