Dr. Roger Michael Setzler, MD

Staff is rude and doesn't listen. When i corrected her she went off and was rude. The doc does a decent job explaining things but he would rather be talking than listening/understanding what the patient needs are. If I wasn't already deep onto treatment I'd fire him and fine a new doc.

Dr Zarzour was my Dr. When he passed away they dumped me on Setzler. He is an arrogant hateful man! Don't think he even reviewed my records. First visit there was no exam and he told me nothing was wrong with me. I was told by worker's comp that AOC wanted to charge them a $600 fee to set up a new patient when I have been a patient there since 2003.He refused to update my prescriptions for anti inflammatory/muscle relaxers/pain reliever.(not on any narcotics). referred me to pain management which took over a month to get appt. Pain management even said there was no reason Setzler couldn't update meds and I need a orthopedic spine dr to keep an eye on my back and shoulder.

I went to him for my lower spine pain between my hips on my spine. He took a couple x-rays said that he seen nothing wrong wrote me antiinflammatories and told me it was just muscle spasms. Called him weeks after visit went back seen him due to my bank not getting any better same thing as first time. So I just gave up so about a month ago I went to Alabama orthopedic groups they took Same x-ray except they angled my back differently on a couple x-rays and found two degenerating discs with arthritis. He completely ignored my complaints and dismissed them left me in pain for a month. His practice license should be pulled for treating patients with no respect and not listening to them and treating them like pieces of dirt. Don't take your worst enemy to him

very impersonalable,dont want to listen,see another dr.

Dr Setzler operated on my foot and did total knee replacement.i have had no problems.the staff is always nice and Dr Setzler always spends a lot of time with me.

This man should not be allowed to put "Dr" in front of his name. "Butcher" would be more appropriate. Completely disabled me and my future. Use at your own risk. Can't someone just stop him. He has been sued; however keeps on hacking away....destroying lives.

Totally incompetent. Can cripple you and cause you continuous pain for life. Please stay away from him.

Would not reccoment him to any one. I received a bum job on my shoulder surgery. My arm got broke during surgery. I had complication from surgery.

avoid this doctor at all costs!!!
