Dr. Roger William Spencer, MD

Dr spencer always listens to me, he always ask how im doing, is everything ok? Anything new going on i should know about. He is a very caring dr. Who actually understands the pain im going through, and he is just so caring and understanding. Thank you dr. Spencer.

My nerve damage pain, has increased over the years. But now, as my pain symptoms increase, he refuses a small or ANY increase in number of pills, constantly warnings of my death. No heart problems, no BP problems etc, only 1 serious accident , which changed my life. Ive had the same injury, many years. It actually- gets worse. He Refuses me any sleep medication, which Ive taken many years, same reason- I could die. Says, if I were here or there, I wouldnt be ABLE to get what I have- But, Im NOT here or there Im where I am. I think he is DEA scared -as are all Doctors now, but that doesnt help me, when my pain & symptom levels increase. I have NO desire to be high on medications, I dont drink or smoke weed. Im aware of what addiction is, it having touched my life, in many ways, through others. I think he suffers from DEA sickness, = The fear a patient will die & they will be held responsible.

I live in the villages florida where patient care being made to come first. I was a little nervous about coming to pain management, not sure what was going to happen or if I would like the doctor. Not only was the staff pleasant but the doctor was even more pleasant. He was singing in the office, the staff always smiled. You could tell this office really enjoys helping people. I recommened this office to anyone in pain looking for help.

My sister came to see this doctor, he put her down called her fluffy, told her she was a knee knocker stand straight put your shoulders back. If you want to be treated like a person act like one. I am so mortified as I also work with patient in pain management and would never talk to a patient in this disrespect or embarrass them in this way. She left crying but if it was me I wouldn't of left so Nicley she had to cancel her appt for the next week she had set up because she was so mordified. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone after the exaperience she encountered. And we will be taking this complaint to higher levels !!!!!!

This is one of the worst experiences of my life! Waited an hour and a half past my appointment time to be seen. All the while the office staff is looking at me and several others in the waiting area and laughing and whispering to each other. Really??? How terrible is that we can't go to a Doctors appointment without being stared at, laughed at and ridiculed by people who are supposed to be there to help you. Then to top it off when I was finally able to see the Dr he didn't stop talking about how busy he is and the drama in his life, while even using foul language several times!!!!! Are you serious? In all honesty I thought I was on one of those prank shows and was being pranked. Unfortunately I wasn't . Needless to say I have found a different Doctor who is very sincere with courteous staff and a great bedside manner. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DR ROGER SPENCER in INVERNESS FLORIDA TO ANYONE .
