Dr. Rohan Francis Faria, MD

I was referred to Dr. Rohan by Dr. Christine Savage, for high ANA and high protein levels in blood. I spoke to Francis, in trying to schedule an appointment and gave her all my insurance information, as I have excellent insurance. She asked me to have Doctor fax over labs and paperwork referral, which I was given to fax to Doctor. I spent two days trying to fax and it never went through. My call was returned from Francis two days later, telling me Dr. chooses who and when he wants to see patients. I cannot schedule an appointment. Shame on him! I called Dr. Kahn's office and got an appointment right away. No Doctor is a God and decides who and who shall not be seen!

I looked forward to every visit, I was doing well improving markers every month. I was compliant with all the rules and meds......I just got a registered letter from his office saying he dumped me and I need to get a new Doc....I'm heart broken and don't know what I did wrong...Wish he would explain why this happened....

very competent, caring, concerned

Dr. Faria has been treating me for my leukemia (CML) for nearly six years. He has brought me to full remission. He is the most intelligent and articulate doctor I have ever met. He is always eager to answer any concerns I have not only regarding my CML but on any medical issue. He is kind, compassionate and will spend as much time with you as needed. You will have to look far and wide to find a doctor who cares about his patients as he does. He dedicates his life to his patients. I have recommended two friends of mine to Dr. Faria and they feel as I do.

Once becoming his patient you’ll quickly become just another number. His staff is nice but just wait till you actually have a problem. They can’t think outside the box and good luck getting a hold of him. His partner physicians are terribly rude. Chemo nurses overworked and lots of turnover. Billing person can’t get her act together. If you want real cancer treatment I’d suggest go somewhere else, this office is not quality.

I have known Rohan Faria, MD as a colleague. I was dismayed by ridiculous negative reviews. Unfortunately, some of these reviews are likely from disgruntled patients that blame the doctor for their diagnosis!. This is, after all, ONCOLOGY. It often leads to death albeit delayed. This is an exceptional doctor that you would be fortunate if he is your physician.

Other positive reviews must be fake because he is not a good doc.

My family and I felt abandoned my him when my wife was admitted to the hospital and he never came and visited. Its almost as if he has too many patients and is unable to devote a proper amount of time to each patient. Things are missed that shouldn't be, more expensive medications/chemos are used instead of cheaper alternatives, and we feel like a number/DR. Faria factory line. He doesn't come across as genuine and clearly only cares about money. Would not believe the hype....trust us, best to avoid

I wqas being treated for a blood disorder and the doctor never even tried to give me a diagnosis- another Doctor suggested I try Dr. Faria and he discovered that I was battling lymphoma which was why I was so anemic and he went right to work - I am still under care and he was very honest with my wife and me and said he was going to get me better by treating me with Rituxan and 6 weeks later I am back to work- I AM STILL GOING TO TREAT WITH HIM AS I MUST AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE WHO WANTS A NO NONSENSE TYPE OF DOCTOR WHO GETS THE JOB DONE. THE NURSES IN THE LAB AND EVEN THE ONES WHO CHECK YOU IN AND DRAW BLOOD ARE ALL HAPPY AT WORK AND TREAT EACH PERSON WITH A SMILE AND CARE
