Dr. Rohit K. Katial, MD

I was diagnosed with Systemic Mastocytosis after many years of suffering I had a team of doctors that didn't know what they were doing. I had went through major testing and many of the testing including bone marrow biopsies and endoscopies were done incorrectly. I met Dr Katial and he was the only doctor that cared and took the time of day to really help me at the time. Him alone, replaced my whole team of doctors I had before. We started over with testing to make sure everything was done correctly and to have a base line to follow. I found him and his team to be very professional and caring. Great doctor.

I wasted my time with Dr. Katial, through 1.5 weeks of testing at National Jewish Hospital. The proper research immunologist who was to lead the team during my tests had been called away to another country. This was years ago and I've not forgotten Dr. Katial's attitude and lack of interest. I was soon diagnosed with three severe immune deficiencies which he did not diagnose. I would not be alive today had I not been diagnosed soon after my visit to National Jewish.

Horrible bedside manners and attitude as he treated me without respect and preferentially treats patients. His interest is with drug companies as he got large amounts of money from them. National Jewish prides itself as the hospital for respiratory conditions but its physicians especially this one is not the choice or the voice for patient care. He doesn't even deserve one star

I have been to many doctors and found Dr Katial to be uncaring and unwilling to take the time to review or give any creedence to my medical records. I was impressed by other doctors at National Jewish but he not only ruined my impression of the institution but completely minimized me and my condition. HORRIBLE experience and a waste of my time. Thank God all doctors are not like him.
