Very caring doctor. He takes up time with you and does not rush in and out. All the people are very nice. I am happy to say I like going to this doctor.

I had seen two other cardiologists before becoming Dr. Tongia’s patient. Upon my first visit, I was immediately impressed by how thorough he was in learning about my medical history and general health, and then in treating my heart condition and explaining it to me in a way that I could understand. At every visit, I never feel rushed and I’m always given the time to discuss whatever questions and concerns I might have. When my condition required major surgery followed by challenging recovery, I felt that Dr. Tongia provided his full support throughout the complete process. Most important, he is a professional, caring physician who has earned my confidence and respect. The front-desk and medical assistant staff are consistently professional, competent, and courteous. Highly recommended.

While he was with me, he gave me his complete attention. He took his own notes from the very beginning. I didn't have to tell a nurse, have her write down my answers. I hate to spent the time telling a nurse, then have the doctor come in and ask me the same things. He was the one asking me from the very first moment of my appointment . There was a follow up call from HIM - not a paid staff member.

My mother died as a result of a procedure performed by Dr. Tongia. He had minimal follow up with my family and did not express the care nor concern needed in a shocking situation. I did not trust his decisions, and he was unable to give clear answers to the choices he made. I do not recommend him.
