Dr. Rolando Acevedo, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Acevedo for many years and I will continue to be even though he is not on my current Health Plan and I am very happy to pay for his services.. He is just that good. His staff could not be more polite and accommodating. They always have a kind word, are quick on the phone and return phone calls as needed. This Doctor's Office is what a Doctor And Staff ought to be everywhere. Would give 10 Stars if I could.

This doctor does not let you speak because he knows it all. He is very proudful and make you waste your time with stupid stories and laughs, but no time on the actual health consultation. He makes you feel like an idiot when he sees you know more than him. What is worse, he really could not treat my serious painful problem. He prescribed me the wrong medications 3 times, and I had to come back several times due to the pain to be treated with the proper medication. He charged me every time when it was his fault. I knew more about the prescription drugs for my condition than him. He gives you 10-15 minutes at the most because his patients are not patients, they are a number to make the most money per hour, day, or whatever his math is. He does not care about your condition. He only cares about the higher the amount of patients, the more money he makes. I never had a problem with my health going to him, but when I got sick, he showed me his true colors. This so called doctor treated me… the worst. I explained to him all the problems I had such as loosing my job due to the time it was taking to be treated, he did not care, and he told me so. Also, watch out for the charges to your insurance. If you happen to have a refund, they don't follow-up or care to refund it. Horrible experience and still suffering the consequences of his mistreatment.

I would recommend anyone to his office. His staff is the very best.

Be careful with the billing. I was charged the full amount for my office visit, given my own claim form to fill out, and then the office kept the reimbursement from the insurance without reimbursing me. So essentially, he was paid twice. Also, bedside manner needs work. He talked over me and was very condescending. I prefer not to be treated like an idiot by my doctor.
