Dr. Rolf Norman Gulbrandson, MD

The surgical group and especially Dr. go Branson is a joke. No follow-up no communication in spite of phone calls and many emails through their own portal. When requesting a copy of the medical exam they requested I come to them to sign the medical release and that pay them $15 and it will take 7 to 14 days to forward that record to my new surgeon. Out rages behavior . Gouging the patient and delaying an important surgery. I do not recommend this doctor or this group to anyone.

I was scheduled to see Dr. Gulbrandson within a week of my referral from my primary physician. My appt. w/ Dr. Gulbrandson was very thorough and he gave me several opportunities to ask questions. My surgery took place w/in a week of seeing the doctor (at my request.) Dr Gulbrandson came in to see me both pre-op and post-op and took all the time I needed from him. The staff both at his office and at the surgery center were fantastic in every respect. I would recommend Dr. Gulbrandson without any reluctance whatsoever

Dr.Gulbrandson is a wonderful surgeon. He was caring, he listen to what i had to say, and answered all my question. And like i said, he was very caring and since I'd never had surgery before, I was really really scared, as many people can agree with having surgery for the first time ever, it can be very stressful(well at least for me it was)... he explained the surgery to me and and went over every step that would be done. He made me feel so much better about having surgery. And now I feel so much better after having the surgery, HE SAVED MY LIFE AND I HAVE NO MORE PAIN!!.. Dr.Gulbrandson and his staff are GREAT and if my kids or my mother needed a surgeon, I would totally take them to Dr.Gulbrandson... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR.GULBRANDSON to anyone that needs a general surgeon.

WOW, all I can say. I was referred to this surgeon & I am SHOCKED that he is still practicing medicine. More so because I cannot believe he would even continue to have patients w/ his behavior. As a patient, I should be able to ask questions! I was frustrated getting sent from dr to dr after 7 months & expressed that. He had no care in the situation. He talked to me rudely; he was arrogant & has absolutely NO bedside manners. I was in tears and he had not a care in the world. Regardless of his knowledge about surgery, why would anyone want to see a doctor that makes them feel so horrible in a visit? Apparently patients are not allowed to question what they are being told. RUNFAST or better yet, stay away from this surgeon. If you are hoping to have any kind of compassion you will get more from the attendant at Chevron down the street than you will get from this doctor. Its okay, hes oldhopefully he will be leaving the profession soon and do us ALL a favor.

Saw Dr. Gulbrandson for gallstones. He was very nice during the appointment, answered all my questions and the surgery went really well. I have small scars and healed up very quickly (quicker than most people I know who have had a similar surgery). I was very happy with the entire experience.

I was very nervous to be seeing a surgeon for a breast lump. I was treated with kindness and courtesy and appreciated the direct approach to my medical problem, and also appreciated the thorough follow up care by the doctor and his staff. I have recommended Dr. Gulbrandson to others.

I waited 1.5 hrs in the waiting room alone, before I saw a nurse who called the wrong name. My experience with Dr. Gulbrandson is that he is very arrogant, he just wants to do the surgery and be on with the rest of his day. I was diagnosed with gallstones and referred to him, He all but laughed when I told him I had a gallstone attack. He also made a stereotypical comment about the food my mother cooks. I almost couldn't believe it. But he was the only surgeon that could see me right away. He was even worse the day of the surgery. He didn't say hello or introduce himself to my family, barely said anything, accept if I had any questions. He rolled his eyes when my sister asked a question. He came across as a real frigid jerk, and made me feel very nervous to think that he was going to be cutting into me. Post op, he did not come by and see me. So far though, I am doing fine from the surgery. I am dreading my 1 wk visit with him.
