I just left a phone message about making an appt with Dr. Horsely - I have always really liked him and thought he did a good job with various members of my family. But, I too, have always been dissatisfied with office staff - Though never to the extent of the reviews that I just read. Collections! Really! I am now seriously rethinking my choice to make an appt and will probably go to the doctor I saw last year when I was never able to reach anyone in the office - no matter when I called. (That was an $800 procedure that Dr. Horsely missed because of poor office response.) Thanks for the info to all that wrote. Dr. Horsely - I really like you as a doctor but...

We didn't know we hadn't paid an extra $15 for a visit and never received a bill... And now (not knowing we had a bill) they are making us pay their late fee with their collections department!! Horrible customer service. We would have been happy to pay that small amount had we known. It is not our fault you took no action to find us yourself! Will never go back.

Doctor was friendly enough and took care of my problems. Sadly, his office staff is terrible. They overbilled my insurance, and while I was sorting it out with my insurance, they sent me to collections. No calls, no follow-up letters, just right to collections. Then, once I tried to sort it out with them on the phone, they were down right rude. Suspiciously, they overbilled my insurance by $234, once corrected, they charged me a collection agency "fee" of $236.00. Stay away, fradualant office staff!

Not recommended. Subpar doctor and spent 2 minutes with me after a 40 minute wait. His office then tried to make me pay the copay twice and I had to place a 3 way call with my insurance company before they would admit they were wrong.

The Office staff made it difficult to want to come back. Billing was always a stressful process. The reseptionist was rude and unhelpful!

THE OFFICE STAFF IS CLEARLY RELATED! The tacky Reseptionist was rude every time we came in.(4yrs) The billing was always done wrong,and she was unwilling to fix it, even after I called, brought and faxed the info to the office. It was like she was going out of her way to make things difficult. The sad thing is Dr. Horsly was a really nice man and good Dr. It was why we continued to come for so long. Everytime I left I thought of finding a new Dr. We finally had no choice! We won't miss his daughter or grandaughter at all.

refused to bill my insurance and made me pay up front. difficult to get a refund from them after insurance has paid. office staff is horrible at customer service but complaints arent taken seriously because they are family and can't do any wrong. I suggest seeing a professional dermatologist and not a family business that can't submit claims or doesn't know how to use patients insurance.
