Dr. Roman L Akilov, DDS

My experience with this dentist was a complete disappointment to say the very least. I booked a cleaning and dental exam. 1st the facility is in poor condition dirty and dark with an odor. They did xrays...and then my teeth were visually examined by Roman. There was no hygienist on staff that day and Mr. Akilov said he would clean my teeth himself when i asked where the hygienist was He used a pale pink paste that felt like it was mixed with debris and sand. He simply smeared this along my teeth, told me to rinse, and that was the end of the 18 minute appointment. My mouth felt disgusting and my teeth were not cleaned nor checked at all. He did not listen or do anything about my questions regarding my fillings or cavities or sensitivity i was feeling. The worst dental experience yet.

this is the worse dentist office in nyc . its really dirty unless you have a private insure they treat you like scum . Nothing is updated in the office the office . One of the dentist Dr akilov even makes holes on healthy teeth to charge the insure . Please stay away from this dentist office

Very thorough. Gentle and explains any work to be done . Always let's you know what action has to be taken . Also explains preventive care. Have recommended to my friends and coeorkers.
