Dr. Roman Ivan Czubatyj, MD

Completely blew off 10 years of chronic pain, said it wasn't his job as a rheumatologist, was in the room a whole 2 minutes. Didn't look at my chart or my history, didn't even look at my chart on the Beaumont Epic software. Said he was going to run a bunch of tests I literally just had done and he would have known that if he bothered to look at my chart. Gave me Motrin 600 after dealing with chronic pain for 10 years, like I haven't tried Motrin already. He'd know that if he read my paperwork. Completely incompetent and shouldn't even be practicing.

Dr is very thorough. Does excellent follow-up. Tries to reduce meds if possible. Always on time. Friendly office staff and assistant.

I saw Dr. Czubatyj for progressively weak symptoms in my limbs. It started in my legs, and then began to impact my arms as well. Dr. Czubatyj insisted that my arm hurt because I must have injured it without realizing it. I begged for blood work, as the symptoms indicated to me that I had something systemic.He did order the blood work, but then ignored the results. I called the office repeatedly to get information about what the tests showed, and those calls were ignored. I finally went to the ER, where the doctor correctly diagnosed me with Inflammatory Myositis within 15 minutes, using the test results that Dr. Czubatyj had ordered. Unfortunately, I ended up missing 5 months of work, as I had become to weak to care for myself, thanks to Dr. Czubatyj's incompetence.

Haven't seen such a compassionate doctor in years. He is excellent!
