totally irresponsible

She bent my leg over sideways and told me the pain wasn't in my back it's in my hip she popped the screw in my back

I am so glad I finally decided to go see Dr. Waghmarae for pain management. I have a not well known bone tumor condition and had tried (I thought) everything before seeking pain management. He and his staff are friendly, warm and very caring. He took the time to personally review all my imaging and the reports from my specialists. I had been told many times by different doctors that they had never seen this before, didnt know how to approach treatment etc. Not so with Dr. Waghmarae, he understood immediately after reviewing my imaging that I have bone pain which is quite severe. He did not require me to stop treatment with my other specialists, including the PRP injections I get elsewhere that his office also offers, nor did he ask me to stop seeing any of my other specialists. I am generally cared for in NYC for the main problem and I was so surprised when he looked at my imaging and agreed radiation treatment would be the best course since so very many doctors did not know how to… manage my condition! I had never heard of the medications he put me on but within the first month of treating with him, my pain is already down almost 50% from what it was. I can sleep through the night. I can enjoy time with my very young son which previously was physically incredibly hard. I have never felt judged or forced onto a treatment path that I dont feel is right by him or any member of his staff. You can tell the staff all share a wonderful relationship with him and each other. Before I went to him I felt like I was at the end of what I could tolerate pain wise and my function had so significantly declined. Now Im so much more comfortable and feel like I may be able to get back to some of the physical activities that I have really missed! I cant say thank you enough!!!

I've been a patient of Advance Pain and Wellness which as my former physician had legal issues. Though the medical procedures have been good, the staff is not very helpful with follow-up and scheduling. I've waited three months for a followup appointment for a continuation of lower back pain issues which also has delayed chronic neck pain. I finally returned to my PCP for pain relief last week.

After being treated by Dr waghmarae for a few years I have seen a major turnover in staff. They seem more interested in selling you treatments than treating your pain. I wouldn’t recommend them.

Horrible experience. Rude office staff, long wait, less then 10 minutes with the doctor, does not explain, just tried to sell everyone a spinal cord stimulator

Like the other opportunistic medical marijuana doctors, he is charging $500.00 in fees to sign up for the Medical Marijuana Program, out of pocket, when the office visit is covered by insurance, just not the exorbitant fees. Meanwhile, he, and all of the other pain management doctors, are refusing to prescribe opiates or narcotics for disabled people who live in chronic, severe pain. Instead, however, they can't wait to jump on the untried, untested, marijuana band wagon, where there is no legal liability for the drug isn't listed as an opiate or narcotic. Call around on the medical marijuana provider list (try Qazi) to find a doctor who won't gouge you......

As a registered NY State Medicinal Marijuana Dr., the office will get you an appointment right away! But if you want medicinal marijuana you will have to pay $550! ( says they can not bill insurance for office visit for THC pain management!!?? Said they have to charge for licensing fee! which can be done online for $50!!)

He is selling out his patients out of fear of prosecution like Dr. Gosy. Will not prescribe pain medication and have a long list of creative excuses. Thus people who live in chronic pain and are disabled are left in unconscionable pain. So much for the hippocratic oath.

Stay AWAY! Not a very good Doctor. Staff is rude. Place is filthy. Can't call the office and talk to anyone. Talks very fast and you don't have any idea what he's talking about. Do your self a favor and don't go! Much better Doctor out there that really care. This guy is profit before people. Was seeing him for 2 year's. Much happier with my new Doctor.
