Dr. Romelle Jones Maloney, MD

I was/am fortunate. My fantastic OB/GYN team of Drs. Romelle Maloney, Yvonne Ankrah and Perinatologist Annette Bond were with me every step of the way. They formed a medical safety net to support me from the very beginning. No test was out of bounds and the standards they held for me were high because, as scientists, they knew the statistics regarding Black female mortality rates complications associated with pregnancy and delivery. They had no problems reminding me that I did not have an “MD” behind my name and to follow their protocol to the letter because they refused to lose me or my baby because of my incessant internet research. ?? When the time came to schedule my c-section, I grew concerned as to who would be there with me. I had heard horrible stories of situations happening during delivery and the patient’s regular OB/GYN was not there. These women held me and told me that THEY were delivering my baby and THEY were going to be there all day, checking my vitals and making… sure that NO ONE was going to mess up their hard work. ?? While I know that Greenwich Hospital is an excellent facility, I can attest to the fact that excellent care happens when doctors advocate for their patient. Dr. Maloney and her team are forever in my debt. Lesley Massiah-Arthur

I have been a patient for more than 10 years. I am not a young person but she is the best gynecologist I ever went to. Smart and caring and she takes the time to listen to the patient. Love her!

Dr. Maloney was excellent in providing timely care. I have recommended her to my coworkers and they also think she is great

I would never recommend her. She's late alot also. Her assistant Cyndy is the best. If Cyndy was a dr. and had her own practice i would go to her.

Me selecting Dr.Maloney as my doctor to deliver my baby was the best decision,she's very professional and cares for her patients.Overall my experience there was very nice and I would definitely recommend her to my friends.If I were ever to have another baby I would not thinking twice and go back there.

I saw Dr. Maloney for an infection. She was very caring and followed up until the infection was cleared.The staff were polite and accommodating.

She has delivered my 2 sons 10 and 6 and my sister's daughter 8 1/2. We love her and her staff. The office is always kept very clean and she even has a tv which plays random info. topics that pertain to women. You dont have to wait long and someone is always around to answer any concerns you may have. Her office hours are very reasonable for the working mother.

On the contray, I totally disagree with the previous comment. Dr. Maloney, her Physician Assistant and support staff have always been very helpful. I have traveled from another state to receive care from Dr. Maloney because of her continued support, attentivness and genuine good care! Perhaps Dr. Maloney was with another patient in labor during this time. Remember Doctors not only have their profession, they do have lives--so in my opinon this was an isolated incident. Dr. Maloney is wonderful!
