He is a good Dr. But the service is Horrible !!!!!

As much as I like Dr.Fernandez. I would not recommend his office at all!! No one returns calls. I’ve called his office over 10 times in past month and half to schedule a procedure he recommended for my son. I have left messages & no response. My sons pediatrician even called twice. It’s awful. I’m currently looking for new neurologist & will walk into office to get my sons records. Save yourself the headache.

My son has been a patient for a couple of years. I like Dr Fernandez as he explains everything clearly and is very professional. However, the ability to get a hold of his staff for ANYTHING is almost impossible. If they call you back, it is a day later or 10 calls later. EVERY CALL GOES TO VOICEMAIL, there isn't anyone that picks up the phone to speak with. In my opinion, this is awful customer service. Whether it is lack of office staff or policies implemented by Dr Fernandez, this is a horrible look on a business. If there was a more responsive staff, I would recommend more. However, this is so frustrating as a parent of a patient of his.

Charming caring old school doctor who is not in a hurry to get to the next patient.

He's a special kind of Doctor . My son enjoys visiting with him because he doesn't make him feel like he's sick .

He seems like a very knowledge person. It's young, and it's very nice with kids. Having said that, his staff is out of this world, a disaster, totally non empathetic, difficult to reach out to. The office is "cold" in terms of decoration of effort in appeal to kids. But he's very good, always was on track with a quite complex diagnostic in our daughter's case. But you need to do an extra effort to deal with the staff.

i have to write this horrible review because after doing a serious exam to my child, i called the office like 50 times and left many many messages and nobody answers me. I need the results to be sent to my pediatrician ( which should be done right after the visit) and they never ever answers my phone calls. This is a total lack of respect and i feel so sad that they can do this. i need the results of the exam that i paid , but i have no answer!!! how is it possible that a neurologist does this? please don't ever waste your time or your money in going to this doctor!!!

The only negative thing I have to say is that their appt. policy leaves alot to be desired. Nobody EVER answers the phone when I call, not ever - they force you to leave a message and then you have to wait for a call back which often times takes a day or two and I find this UNACCEPTABLE for parents who are obviously going to this Dr. because they may fear something is wrong with their child. There should always be someone answering the phone. It is such poor practice and discourteous to make people leave messages just to get an appointment...

At first I was so happy with this Doctor, he took time with me and explained in detail. Then when my sons medicine was not working, he put me on a new drug called Quillivant. This did NOT work at all and received calls from the teacher. I immediately tried to reach out to the doctor and it took days for his ASSISTANT to call me back. I explained I really need to speak with the doctor himself and made numerous calls without response for days. I made one final attempt days later and the ASSISTANT again left me a message to set up an appointment. Who does this when you are medicating your children. To be completely ignored. Disgusting!! DO NOT TRUST THIS DOCTOR WITH YOUR LOVED ONES.
