Dr. Ignacio is an amazing doctor!!! He took the time to explain everything to myself and husband which made us feel more at ease. He answered all my silly questions and didn’t once make me feel like I was being a nuisance . He was also very caring and compassionate to my daughter while she was going through this whole process. He asked for my daughter’s opinion and made sure to let her know that her voice matters (she is 13), after all she was going to have a major surgery. During the surgery process he went above and beyond by making sure to keep us informed on what was going on and how the surgery process was going. After the surgery he explained everything to us and was great with daily follow ups while in the hospital. God forbid any of our children have to have an operation, he is the only one we would want I wish all doctors were modeled after this man. Thank you Dr. Ignacio! Love The Schachner Family

He took his time to explain everything and always had time to answer our questions. He was not only kind to us, but I watched how he treated the nurses and staff around him with great kindness. Dr. Ignacio is an excellent surgeon and came to our son's rescue when as a newborn our son was diagnosed with pyloric stenosis. We were so nervous but Dr. ignacio put us at ease. He was very patient, did a great job explaining the procedure before and after. We never felt rushed when we talked with him. He was very thorough at covering all the topics. Dr. Ignacio helped me with my issue of Intestinal Malrotation. I used to feel horrible everyday but now I feel better than ever! He definitely handles everything with care and does everything very well.

Our daughter was born with Gastroschisis, Dr Ignacio was the absolute best surgeon! He handled our daughter with great care and used the most incredible techniques. He created a beautiful belly button for her you can’t even tell it’s man-made. She recovered beautifully with no complications, a happy healthy child thanks to her great surgeon!!

Dr. Ignacio Jr. performed surgery on our daughter, he removed a large ovarian cyst. His expertise and willingness to listen to our family history and our questions were greatly appreciated. He not only explained to us, but to our daughter both before and after surgery the procedure. He was extremely knowledgeable and through. He treated us all with respect. He even explained and labeled her surgical photos she asked for of the cyst. The incisions were no larger than 2 standard staples. We could have not asked for a better surgeon.

Our son was diagnosed with a condition requiring surgery while he was in the NICU soon after he was born. Dr. Ignacio cared about how we were feeling, discussed in depth the condition and treatment, and gave us printed materials to read and keep. He gave us his opinion along with the reasons for it, but respected our decision if we chose to deviate from his recommendation. We went with his timeline and our baby is now 9 months post surgery and is doing great.
