Dr. Romuald Altine, DO

When the first words out of this doctor's mouth were "By law I have 72 hours to see a new patient at this facility (Manor Care)", uttered actually 74 hours after the patient was admitted, anything else this doctor would ever have to say or do would be tainted by that first comment. Obviously out for himself. Spent about 2 and a half minutes with the patient (my father), never heard from him again. Thankfully, we were able to get him out of Manor Care eventually and into a facility with actual doctors and competenet staff. I notice this doctor is affiliated with many hospitals and groups, spreading himself a little thin while trying to bring in the cash. The patients suffer. Nothing constructive or helpful in my father's care came from this doctor. In fact, my family believes the opposite is true- had adema been addressed earlier by this doctor, my father might have been a good rehab candidate instead of a hospice patient now. Horrible doctor.
