My family had a wonderful experience with Dr. Segurola. My fathers diagnosis came as a surprise however, Dr. Segurola’s thorough explanation and attention provided us with the certainty that Dad was in the right hands. Dr. Segurola is a wonderful surgeon and his hospital staff provides excellent care and followup. We will forever be grateful to Dr. Segurola and his team.

I had a great experience with Dr. Romualdo Segurola and his staff. I had visited another surgeon before this appointment but was not 100% happy with the consultation. Dr. Segurola took so much time to carefully explain my fathers condition so well, I was convinced I had found the surgeon for my fathers open heart surgery. Dr. Segurola even took his time to show us the studies on a big monitor so we would be able to have a better understanding of everything going on. The staff was amazing as well. Even though it was late in the day they where so attentive and knowledgeable. They all came together flawlessly and delivered amazing patient care.

Great physician. His full attention is to the patient. Great staff. Have not had any problems with him or his staff.

My son had surgery with Dr. Segurola at Jackson Memorial Hospital and our experience was nothing but 100% positive. First of all, Dr. Segurola is a highly experienced surgeon. He explained the nature of the procedure to us in great detail and answered all of our questions to us patiently and in a way that we could fully understand. Yes, his office is extremely busy because the doctor is constantly in surgery and then following up with his patients but when he is with you, you have his full attention. I do not understand people that write reviews and complain because they have to sometimes wait to see their doctor. Sure, if it is a constant and consistent problem, that is one thing but don't you want a doctor that takes his time with patients an follows up quickly on emergencies first? Additionally, Dr. Segurola is also extremely contentious to make sure to bring in other physicians from other specialties , if needed, to make sure there is a proper coordination of care. In my… case, even though my son had already gone through a full cardiac workup, the doctor wanted additional testing done by a doctor he trusted before any surgery was performed. This gave me great confidence that we chose the right surgeon for the job. I would also like to recognize the doctors amazing staff. His ARNP, Luce, is a true asset to the doctors' practice. She is by his side in the hospital and took excellent care of my son all with an extremely upbeat personality. Additionally, Dr. Segurola's assistant, Iraida and the office manager, Ana, have been attentive, kind, and compassionate from day one. This is a fantastic team and although I hope i never have to use their services again, I would ONLY choose to use them if I did have that need.

DR SEGUROLA DID AN OPEN HEART SURGERY TO MY HUSBAND IN 2009 AND TO ME HE IS THE BEST THE WAY HE TREATED MY HUSBAND WAS THE BEST !!!! THANK GOD AND THANK DR SEGUROLA HE STILL ALIVE AND WELL HE IS THE BEST !!!

Dr Segurola explained everything and was very professional and caring after surgery. My experience was very positive.
