Injured my hand at 3am doing dumb college kid stuff. Dr. Johnson was was prompt in seeing my in the ER and did an amazing job suturing my hand.

Performed surgery as needed - Office staff is not overly friendly. Happy with results.

The office staff and nurses extremely nice. He was nice, however, my incisions opened several days post surgery, one of my JP drains "fell out" and a family member rushed me to his office because my incision was bleeding so bad that I was soaking tjrough thick maxi-pad in less than 30 minute. I arrived at his office covered in blood. I was told these were all possible complications, results he'd never seen, my body was rejecting the sutures and JP drain and that it was my fault. I ended up with a massive infective, a "pocket" of fluid on the inside of my R. breast that leaked, took a month to heal and required dressing changes where I had to stuff "packing" into the wound twice a day for a month. I was left with a huge scar and misshappen breast. Again, my fault! Four months after the reduction I underwent another surgery because he said we needed to remove the scar tissue and make my breasts symetrical. Deep down I questioned it but I didn't speak up. He was a surgeon and I put my… faith in the word of my Doctor. WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!! Extreme pain, extensive healing, pain and horrible gapping scars. Again, my fault. So here we are 11 years later and I'm about to undergo surgery to repair the damage he caused and to give me a breast shape that will allow me to wear a bra that fits instead of a sports bra. I was a 38HH, breast fed four children and the reduction was supposed to help, not cause more harm and damage. This time around, thanks to the internet, I was able to do extensive back ground checks before picking a new surgeon.

Breast reduction was lop sided. After trying he tried another surgery to fix it the Brest still looks the same. Now I just have another scar. Went I told him that I didn't like the idea of a doctor in training doing my surgery he said. Well... that is the program! On Breast reconstruction that is another matter. I have a cavern like area in that breast. Got an infection in the incision from surgery that took months to heal. My body looks like a railroad track. Not sure if he even did any of the surgeries I had. I think most we're done by people in training. Would not recommend! Sorry, but I feel that the rating is important so doctor will start getting it right the first time.

My husband has gynecomastia, and after saving up to have reduction surgery, we chose Dr. Johnson based on a personal recommendation.You will never wait less than an hour. Likely much longer.My husband received follow-up care from the doctor after his surgery while he was still coming out of anesthesia. No one else was present to make sure my husband was lucid enough to remember what he was told to do.During the post-surgery follow-up visits in the office, my husband was left lying on a table with no one to help him sit up or even put his compression bandage back on, which consisted of two long athletic wraps--not a compression shirt--because of his build. I had to start accompanying him in the room to make sure he had assistance after each visit. I had to ask about follow-up instructions at every visit. If I didn't ask, we received none, even if there were definite things that had to be done.After a round of additional shaping done in the office, my husband was given no follow-up… instructions. When he went back to have his incision checked, he was told he was supposed to have worn a compression bandage again. No one told him this. As a result, he had a LOT of swelling where the shaping was done.We also had various other issues with the office staff being unhelpful and rude during the myriad of visits that ensued. One of the medical residents even laughed at my husband during one of the visits.A year later, my husband's swelling on one side has never completely subsided, and he is lumpy-looking all over the areas reduced, at best.If you don't care what you look like after a breast reduction, by all means, use this guy. If you give even a fig about your appearance, find someone else who gives a d--n about his patients and their well being.
