Caring individual. Actively listens fully before giving a response. He tells the truth in a caring way and helps the client take responsibility for their treatment and changes to be made. I fully believe any negative comments he were to receive is probably because the client wasn't ready to accept what was to to them and perhaps wasn't ready for treatment. Dr Samarian is loyal and will not discontinue with s client when things get difficult. He truly cares about his patients and I truly believe he wants to walk along side them while they take the necessary steps to get better.

The best psychiatrist I have had the good fortune to be able to receive care from. I have seen psychiatrists from Stanford university to U of M Ann Arbor, Minneapolis, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills and Manhattan for 17 years prior to seeing him. None have even come close to him. He is compassionate, genuinely caring, knowledgeable, and professional. I have been a patient of his for the last 5 years. Even though I am a mental health profssional, Dr. Samarian is a rare commodity in the field nation wide. His treatment provides me with choices, he rarely prescribes me any medications, which also makes him very unique. I really respect and appreciate him. There is no one else I would feel confident about my family members seeing except Dr. Samarian. He truly respects and cares about his patients' well being.
