Dr. Rona Jean Roberts, MD

This woman is absolutely not a control freak. She is very thourough and has the patient's best interests at heart. She asks several questions and takes the most appropriate medical choice available when providing medications. When I came to her, I was on the verge of hospitalization. She counseled me into hospitlization and stood by the other doctor's medication orders after I was discharged and stable. She continued to provide the best prescription combination to suit my personal situation. I would highly recommend her and feel that the poor review seems to be someone who may have just been rubbed the wrong way. I was referred to Dr Roberts by a good friend and I have referred others to Dr. Roberts as well.

Help that was needed, and on target with my needs

This woman is a repressed, arrogant, control-freak who evidently enjoys having complete control and authority over those whose care she is intrusted with (i.e. the mentally "unwell"). I was committed to Ten Broeck hospital after a 20 hour wait in the Univ. of Louisville Psychiatric ER! I met with her and her "treatment team" for less than 3 minutes and her decision was to have me committed, against my will, for 60 days to Ten Broeck Hospital. Her actions and decision truamatized me for life and have affected many others. If this is appropriate care for the mentally "unwell" she will certainly will have job security since those in her care will never receive the treatment they deserve and need!
