Dr. Ronald Jon Bertram

Dr. Bertrum refuses to do things for his patients that should and CAN be done by a PCP. He has not done anything for me that has ever helped except give me one prescription for acid reducing issues. My OBGYN has referred me back to my PCP to take control of my horomone replacement therapy because I have no reason to see her again until I'm 40. She saw no problem with this being done. He refuses to do this. He has refused to help me get my chemical medicine in balance while I was having a hard time finding another pysh. doctor. He has also refused to give me a b12 shot stating that the only reason you feel better is because it is all in your mind because you got a b12 shot. My energy has always been low and I have NEVER heard of a doctor not believing in giving you vitamins! In my opion Dr. Bertrum is full of fluff and that is all you will get out of him. although He will go ahead and do an entire full work up of blood work on you for no reason at all even after you tell him… you have already had a full work up which just lead to costing me money that didn't need spent. He also recently cut a cyst, a piece of glass, or scarred tissue (he couldn't tell) out of my husbands knee. What a great diagnosis. Who knows what kind of problems he will have out of that in the future with not even knowing what it was that Dr. Bertrum cut and Dr. Bertrum either didn't get it all or didn't realize there was a second one right next to the same place. Is he a nice person, yes! Is he a good Doctor in my eyes, absolutely NOT! I will not continue to see him. My husband can keep going to see if he chooses so. He has not seemed to have any problems with him in his mind although he doesn't know that Dr. Bertrum has refused certain medical attention for my needs yet. Maybe Dr. Bertrum doesn't understand women and is not a good doctor for women only men. I am done with his office and moving on. Oh and BTW you can leave his nurse two messages a week apart along with your pharmacy leaving a message in the same week and none of the calls get returned until you hound the office!

I am a long-time patient of Dr. Bertram, and would not, by choice, ever visit another General Practicioner. Dr. Bertram is without a doubt the most interested, caring physician I've ever had the pleasure to know. He has an excellent bedside manner, listens to every comment and complaint, and does not rest until he finds and treats the root cause of a malady that troubles his patients. I would be reluctant to trust my general health to any other physician. I consider Dr. Bertram not only an eminently qualified physician, but a friend.

Dr.Bertram has a great sense of humor and cares deeply for his patients. He is very intelligent. There were times when I didn't have much money and no matter, he made sure I got the best of care. I have moved to another state and miss him.I have never found another Dr.as wonderful as him. Thank you Dr.Bertram.
