Dr. Ronald Torres Buhain, MD

I have called several times to request my medical records. Each time I was asked to leave a message for Dr Buhain's nurse. I was told that his nurse can email me a link to retrieve my medical records off a portal. However, Dr Buhain's nurse never returned any of my calls pertaining to this.

My Partner and I have been patients of Dr Buhain for 6 months. He is extremely conscientious and caring about our health. I am 85 and have various problems. The doctor takes plenty of time to listen and reassure and gives sound advice. He is most cordial,, has a good sense of humor which puts the patient at ease. He is a fine Physician. Two years in a row no notification about abnormal lab results. Can never get a return phone call from his staff. No EKG or Chest Xray with physical. Knowing he diagnosed my enlarged heart and high blood pressure. Would not recommend him to anyone looking for a primary care physician.

First off, Dr. Buhain is a kind man. He listens & is all about the solution, I never feel rushed even though the office is very busy. Wait time is minimal. I’ve been under his care for approximately 12 + Yrs. He is quick to reply when Rx refills are needed. His personalized attention is unparalleled. John

I have been going to Dr. Buhain for 15+ years and have moved 3 hours away but still see him because HE'S THE BEST!

Dr. Buhain was my Internal Medicine physician for 2 years. For the second year in a row I had abnormal lab results which I was never notified about by him or his staff. Both in 2015 and 2016 I only found out about the results when I called the office. Both times I was given the same excuse of a medical assistant's vacation. Upon requesting a call directly from Dr. Buhain and sending messages through their online portal regarding treatment, it took almost 1 month to get either. I would not recommend Dr. Buhain or his staff.

I've seen Dr B for many years now, my age & issues have been challenging, he's been good walking me through some rough patches, He's really good at timing of appointment time is always within minutes, We've all been to a Doc. That has zero respect for the patient's time, not here. The office & staff are pleasant & kind. Especially Jenefer. I don't usually do reviews but my insurance is changing & went into a mini panic, so my search was really just to confirm I'm not losing my fave Doc. Looks like he's stuck with me!

Very conscientious and communicative doctor. Vey helpful in times of need.

Dr. Buhain takes the time to fully understand and treat you. He is knowledgeable and his bedside manner is better than any other physician I have ever been to - and I'm 61 years old.

Disregards life of patient in terms of age. Does not look at all options.
