Dr. Very rude. Was on and off the phone the majority of my appointment. Did not do any tests, but just dispensed more medication. Would not recommend him.

Very friendly staff, always in good spirits. Makes you feel comfortable the minute you walk in the door. Dr Bukowy Is a great physician who I trust dearly. He has helped me through years of my sickness and I appreciate that he has alwyas been there for me!

Doctor Bukowy seems to know his medicine but is very impersonal and not interested in extending any effort to help his patients. He is happy to be a watchdog and dispense meds/subscriptions but don't expect any help with further understanding of your case or how to investigate further or learn to live with it. He is content to charge high fees as long as you don't expect any effort from him.

I have been seeing Dr. Bukowy for many years and have not had the problems stated in the previous posts. While I admit he is not the easiest doctor to form a bond with[it took me over 3 years to get him to crack a smile at a joke I made]he is well informed on the issues that concern me and my disease. He is always up to date on current studies and medications that apply to me and always has helpful suggestions to help alleviate my symptoms so I am still able to continue my very physical and stressfull job. I can't rate his follow up as I have not needed a response that could not wait till my next appointment. I travel quite a ways to keep him as my doctor beacause the one time I had to see someone else, that doctor told me that "Maybe you should get another job". How is that for rude?If you want a doc who knows his stuff stay with Dr. Bukowy-if you want warm fuzzies then get a puppy or a teddy bear

If I could give a review of Dr. Bukowy's receptionist (Pat), it would be 5 stars...I found her to be very caring, sympathetic, and extremely helpful. As far as the Dr. himself, though, I was very disappointed. He has ZERO bedside manner, and was very lackadaisical in his approach towards my diagnosis and treatment. He was condescending and gave me the impression that he thought my symptoms were all in my head. In my case, he failed on many attempts to follow through with returning phone calls, making physician referrals, and returning test results. I know that the right doctor-patient fit depends on the personalities of each party and the needs of the patient, but frankly, I cannot imagine ANYONE who would "click" with this doctor. I stayed with this practice longer than I should have because I really felt a great connection with Pat, but in the end, it's the doctor, not the receptionist, who should be taking care of you.

Dr. was very rude, not willing to listen to me at all. Acted as though he had heard it all before and had no sympathy towards me or my situation. Took many phone calls while I sat in his office explaining my problem. Would never see him again.

His wife is his receptionist and she is rude and hangs up on people. She acts as Doctor's gatekeeper and does not give him messages. She integates all phone calls.
