Dr. Ronald Clay De Lyrh Butler, MD

Basically we were told by Dr. Butler's office staff that our insurance would cover 80% of our claim and in the end the insurance only covered around 40%. Turns out he was out of network, which you would think they would know. We could have gone to someone in network and paid less. This is a disservice to consumers. Add insult to injury we just received a debt collector notice for the oral pathology two years later! Shop around, and make sure you get the right insurance information.

I had surgery 10 days ago, to start off his office is outdated and dirty. His front office staff was extremely rude and lacked any sense of empathy for the patient. I should have listened to my gut instinct telling me not to stay. I unfortunately went through with the surgery. The doctor started my IV without gloves on. He never told me the IV was actually going to knock me out, I thought it was just fluids. Next thing I knew, I was waking up from surgery. The following day my pain was worse and the next 10 days the pain increased substantially. I returned for a follow up and he stated everything was fine, even though i explained how much pain I was experiencing. He was rude and non empathetic. I ended up in the ER and followed up with another surgeon to find I had dry socket and tons of debris and food in the incision. Mind you, 2 days prior he said I was "fine."

The iv sedation is awesome I remember and felt nothing. He's an awesome dentist. He and his staff are very caring .

This DR. is the worst I have ever encountered. He was rude,ungrateful, and mean. I asked a simple question since i was unaware of some of the procedure. He yelled at me and was very upset beacause i didnt know exactly what was going on. Im not a physician it was his job to tell me. I woke up from the procedure it didnt knock me out completely during surgery. In addition he left bone inside me during my wisdom tooth extraction and had to follow up and remove 3 months later. I got infected and was told i was going to lose the tooth next to it by him. My jaw wont open all the way to this day. He is ripping the military off and doesnt care about his patients. I am a veteran and have had procedures in the past stay away from this DR. he has a hot head and treats you just like a number. I plan to spread the work of his anger problem and lack of patience with patients. He needs to be investigated and take a class in sensitivity for kids and adults. Military ask for another DR. I HAVE NO… REASON TO LIE BUT SPEAK THE TRUTH IN REGARDS TO DR. BUTLER.... I have had CONSTANT issues with the tooth that was fine before he worked on me the tooth that he said i was gonna lose thanks to him.
