Summary
Ronald Calaway-Habeck, DMD
DMD: Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine
BS: Biology, Eastern Washington University, Cheney, WA
Number of years at TLC:Â 1
The most satisfying aspect of my job is: “Providing quality care in a timely manner, all the while meeting the patients needs and addressing their concerns. Many patients walk in the door scared to be at the dentist and I take pride in understanding where they are coming from. So, when a patient states that they had a good experience I feel I have done my job.â€
What is something you wish everyone knew about dentistry?: “I wish more people understood the shift in treatment philosophy from "fix it when it hurts" to "prevent things from hurting." Many people think pain is the best indicator that treatment is needed when in fact, teeth can completely break down and the patient wouldn't feel anything. With today's technology, we can catch things more often than not before they hurt.â€
The most …challenging aspect of my job is: “When a patient has had a bad dental experience in the past, it can be a challenge to show that patient that dentistry does not have to be a bad experience.â€
What advice would you give a person looking for a dentist: "Find a dentist that is up to date on technology and education, but more importantly find a dentist that truly cares about their patients."
How do you think Dentistry With TLC is different from other dental offices? “Here at TLC we take pride in our name; tender, loving, care. Each employee puts the patient first and that is what sets us apart. We treat each patient equally and do our best to provide the care we would want given to us.â€
Is there anything else you would like to say? “I have worked in the dental field over 20 years, and I have been associated with countless dental offices. I can honestly say Dentistry With TLC is the best team I have seen. I am proud to be a part of this practice and consider myself fortunate to have found a place like this to work.â€

Reviews on Vitals are submitted by users only. Recognizing the valuable insights these reviews offer into a doctor's reputation, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Importantly, providers cannot delete or alter reviews independently. Reviews can only be deleted or changed following an internal assessment by our customer service team.
Your feedback is highly valued and we encourage you to contact our support team should you encounter any issues.
