Dr. Ronald M Cyr, MD

He was my ob for my last daughter in Monroe Michigan 1996 he was AWFUL , kept saying condensending things about me and the weight I gained while I was pregnant , I was pregnant and going through a divorce and didn’t need to hear rude comments from my DOCTOR !

I saw Dr. Cyr in the 90s. He was absolutely the worst doctor I have had. He was rude, condescending and just a jerk. I have seen doctors in Europe, Asia and the US. To thus day he is still the worst doctor that I have seen.

I saw Dr. Cyr for my annual gyn exam when he was at U of M in the early 2000's. I still remember it as my worst doctor experience ever. I was in my late 20's and told him I didn't intend to have children, to which he said that I would "wait too long and regret it". He seemed friendly at first, but his attitude toward me definitely changed after I told him I had no intention of having children. During the exam (which was the most painful pelvic exam I've ever endured...I felt bruised for days) he only spoke to the nurse who was in the room, telling her that women these days wait too long to get pregnant and they all want female obgyns...blah blah blah. It was a horrible experience and I still remember it to this day.

Uncaring, jerk.

Dr. Cyr cared for my wife and 30 years ago today delivered the first of two sons in Ottawa. Excellent care and experience for both of us.

I was referred to Dr. Cyr when I was two weeks pregnant in 1984 by my gynecologist, Dr. Norman Barwin. I went for one visit and was traumatized by it. I immediately called Dr. Barwin & told him about the incident & asked him for a different referral & never went back to see Dr. Cyr again. All of the recent media with the #metoo movement has brought these painful memories back. I find it odd that when I look at Dr. Cyr's education history it shows him going to school in Canada, however, it doesn't mention anything about his practice here. Lynn L.
