Don't recommend at all. A complete J*** A**.

He has bad judgement in prescribing medicine. DON’T RECOMMEND.

Please do not go to him. This Dr made me question my own reality. He did not take my feelings into consideration, or truly listen to any of my symptoms. My experience with him was very upsetting, and I highly suggest that anyone who is looking for real answers regarding a diagnosis for things that are going on in your body avoid him as much as possible. He will tell you that you have a specific condition that’s related to trauma and is psychological. I am thankful I did not give up after speaking to him and continued to do my own research and see other doctors who were able to diagnose me with Ehlers Danlos syndrome along with convulsive syncope. P.O.T.S and MCAS. This is the cause of all of my severe pain as well as the seizure like responses that I was having. This man thought he had me figured out the second he seen me and didn’t care about anything other than his original diagnoses. I know waitlists are long right now but I suggest waiting for someone else if you can because… anyone would be better then this dismissive Dr who will label you and make it more difficult for Dr’s to identify what is really going on.

Dr. Fields was the most arrogant doctor with whom I've dealt. He made it known that he had read my records thoroughly. In talking to him, he had MISread only my medication allergies, which all happened to be pain medications. He came in with the assumption that I was drug seeking. Even after my family explained to him that was not the case, he seemed unable to refocus from that initial interpretation. He indicated that his diagnosis was that it was a deep rooted psychological issue. Knowing that was not the case, we sought help at a different facility and were able to find out that I was having complex global seizures. Because he was unable to catch a seizure during the time of the EEG, he assumed that I was not having seizures at all. My family noticed that he kept telling them, "Well, I'm a seizure EXPERT." Be that as it may, his arrogant attitude and misdiagnosis were quite troubling.

Though Fields is overall courteous and seems well educated, I recommend you not choose him as a doctor. Fields is very irresponsible when it comes to communication with the patient and professionals. He does not return calls to me, my pharmacy, and other doctors to name a few. His lack of communication cost me my job. Though I hand delivered a letter requesting that a report be sent approximately two weeks before the deadline, Fields failed to do this report/letter. Rather than sending a report, or calling me with questions, he waited until the next month at my appointment to ask a question. Very irresponsible and unprofessional.

Dr. Fields is probably a good doctor. He has a very conservative approach to medicine, which I usually respect, but starting to think maybe he lacks creativity. His office, however is very poorly run! It is nearly impossible to get a timely call back.

I called his office 4 times, leaving urgent messages, as I needed medication. My calls were never returned. Another time, I called 3 times with a significant health issue that needed attention. Again, no response. I will find a neurologist who cares and who has a staff that cares and is not rude. Stay away from this practice!!!

This neurologist group is subpar It did take a while to get an appointment, When I went in the room, it took me 20 min to see him for a 5 min visit. I had to go to the desk to see where he was. Dr. Fields always pushed his agenda and not asked what I thought. One time I was late because of traffic. I called the office but they told me I had 10 min to get there or pay the late fee. I left that practice and now I have a great doctor who cares.
