Dr. Ronald Michael Friedman, MD

I am in my mid 50’s and lost over 100 lbs after a life-long battle with obesity. My abdomen was left a wreck inside and out and I was covered in drooping, empty skin from my shoulders to my knees. I walked into my consultation with Dr. Friedman with a mile-long list of things I hated about my body. Dr. Friedman has been managing my fillet injections for several years, carefully timing them to prevent the return of facial lines before they become noticeable but not so frequently that people realize I have had work done. After having 2 friends recommend Dr. Friedman, I contacted his office in May 2018 when I found out my 18-year old silicone breast implants were leaking. My first consultation was professional and detailed. I appreciated the time he took to look at my breast MRI results that allowed him to reassure me that the silicone with contained within the scar capsule. To feel like I was being an informed consumer, I went to another consultation with another doctor, for comparison. That consultation was very casual, the doctor didn't look at my breast MRI results, and it took place in a room that looked like an office, not an exam room. I knew then I was scheduling my surgery with Dr. Friedman. I was very concerned about the redo because I liked what I had and wasn't ready to get a redo. He assured me he would get my new results as close to what I had before, but also spoke realistically about what he could and could not do (implants have changed in the last 18 years!). The day of surgery when we… talked before the surgery I felt like I was in good hands, and that he would take care of the silicone leakage and give me good results. At my post op appointment he reviewed the surgery with me and showed me before/after photos for comparison, and the photos he took during surgery of everything from my breasts without implants, the silicone issue, and the growths he biopsied and sent in to a lab to ensure they aren't cancerous (even though I had a breast MRI to screen for cancer, the growths were the size of pen head and weren't picked up by the MRI). I'm a week post op and I can say that I'm thrilled with the results! Honestly they look even better than they did before (he fixed some asymmetry that I had previously). I'm thrilled with my results. The only thing I'm upset about is that he will probably be retired by the time I need a redo in 12-14 years.

Dr. Friedman performed extended submental liposuction (double chin and jawline) on me. The whole experience was great. He was very detailed in the information he provided about my procedure and what I could expect in the weeks/months after. I can't even begin to express my pleasure and satisfaction with the results so far. Totally worth it! Life changing! Really great doctor and staff...I would highly recommend him!
